WADE WE WERE SO CLOSE! I don't know what happened, but I thought he'd nail that shot. I really wanted them to win the openning game. They had some team chem issues at the beginning, but thats not gonna stop us. When Payton took over it seemed all of Miami's problems just vanished. Part of me wants to see him start, and another part doesn't. I like that he can come in as a spark off the bench, but I would like to see him get ever one going at the beginning of the game.

Walker was unimpressive today. I hope he gets going sooner than later.

Indiana always does good against the Heat for some reason. A seven game series between the 2 teams would be very interesting.

If Walker keeps jacking threes like he did tonight, he is only proving again that he's a cancer to any team he goes to... He needs to play like he did against the Spurs in the preseason. I think that was the best Walker i have seen recently.
That shot by Wade....in and out!!!!! Man that was so close.
I think Wade still needs to cut down on TO cuz tonight he had 5 and in the first game he even had 7. Payton, Wade and Zo were the only ones to play impressive games.

That game didn't matter compared to Shaq getting injured. They probably will have to compete harder later in the season if they want to get 1st.

I admit, I was sleeping on Indiana. I didn't really consider them a serious threat. But the way they beat up Miami, I might have to reconsider.

It was on the frontpage the entire time ... Link

Tough loss by the Heat, also they lost Shaq for 2 to 4 weeks.

Yea, Walker better get his act together. I am not sure if we could get anything out of him if we trade him.

Anyways, it sucks that we don't get to see Shaq play for 2-4 weeks, and I was hoping him and Yao could meet next Thursday, but it looks like that is not going to happen. Its ok though, w/ or w/o Shaq Miami can still get the win.

Wow you would think they would have some sort of plan, even the media has dissected the problems they will have figuring out a structure for this team, but they look like they just started playing together. I see D-Wade hesitating, passing to JWill instead of taking the shot, JWill's shot rattles out, Indiana rebound, then I see Antoine taking a shot while Dwayne watches, prays it goes, it doesn't, etc... what a mess. this heat ain't smelling the finals anytime soon. shaq will probably get them to the east finals but Detroit and Indiana are clearly better teams right now.
