GMan's Predictions Bucks fans finally get a chance to see the revamped team live and in person when the Bucks take the floor for their 38th home opener. Shaq will likely be out, which will give the Bucks a chance to win this game...It should be exciting, especially seeing one of Marquette's finest, Dwyane Wade come home. It will be Redd vs Wade....winners team will win the game...Without Shaq the Bucks will win. Bucks 106 Heat 102
Without Shaq in the lineup the Heat will switch into their uptempo offense tonight. The Bucks match up well with the Heat, but this will be one of the games they miss having Dez coming off the bench. Maybe Reece Gaines can turn back the clock and give his college rival, DWade, a taste of what he did to him when they went head to head in college. Dez would have been a nice player off the bench to use defensively on Wade. I think the Bobby Simmons/Antoine Walker matchup will decide this game. Walker shot the Heat out of a win last night, so he will be out for redemption. Simmons has to be ready for him defensively and make Walker work on defense. TJ Ford is going to be a nightmare for the Heat tonight. He should be able to penetrate inside all night long. I expect the Heat to shoot a lot from the outside, and Ford will be off to the races from the long rebounds. Zo is a great second line of defense, but has a tendancy to leave his man for and go for the shot block. Magloire and Bogut can both finish and hit the weakside glass hard. Bucks should get a lot of second chance shots in this game.
Playing the Heat without Shaq is a good break for us. Playing at home also tips the scales a bit in our favor. However, I don't expect us to win this game. We'll be competitive for sure, and I'm sure we'll give the Heat all they can handle. It wouldn't surprise me if we won, but I think right now we're not quite on the Heat's level. My prediction: Heat 112 Bucks 107
The Bucks defense is terrible so far, the Heat are shooting 52% so far and are owning the paint. The Bucks have need to start pounding the ball on the inside. They only have 4 free throw attempts, and none from the front court. Without Shaq playing the Bucks haven't taken advantage of the post.
Bucks came from behind to win the game 105-100. After only 4 free throw attempts in the first half, the Bucks became more aggressive and had 19 FTAs in the second half to aid in their comeback effort. Bucks are a proud 3-0.
YEAH BABY!!!!! I was able to see a little of the game at work, and what I saw was a) NO defense TJ was owning the lane on drives and kickouts c) we actually got some offense in the post This is SO awesome! 3-0 baby!!! I take pride in pointing out that TJ Ford is averaging 17.3 ppg and 10.3 apg so far this year

The Bucks really clamped down on D in the 4th quarter, and Bobby Simmons took over, with a posterization dunk on Zo...that brought the house down. Zo was a factor early, but Maglorie and Bogut wore him down, so did all the minutes. Jamaal had a great game.
