<div class="quote_poster">Quoting amador08:</div><div class="quote_post">What do you guys think of Paytons comments about the coach?</div> What did he say???
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting amador08:</div><div class="quote_post">He wont come back strong hes old and its going to take him awhile to heal.</div> lol at the bandwagoner his fav player is kobe is fav team is the spurs and he's from portland lol
Well I lived in Van Nuys b4 I moved to Portland and I was a laker fan there and I still am. Spurs are fun to watch and Ginobli is also one of my favorite bball players since hes from Argentina aswell. Its ok though I see your a shaq lover so you got angry about my statements. Sorry they offended you but he is getting old and way past his prime he will never win another championship again I gaurantee it!
Some interesting things in this thread. Yao will NEVER be better than Shaq. Not even when Shaq is 50 years old playing on crutches. Yao is an overrated Center. Actually I think Centers as a whole are overrated. Takes a lot of skill to be 7 feet tall (or more) and dunk and shoot layups....Anyways that is a different story. Yao will never be as aggressive or powerful as Shaq. Shaq is past his prime though. He is on the downslope of his career. This ankle sprain wont be the reason though. If he keeps getting injured though he will probably retire within 2 years. I agree that Shaq wont win a Championship. Unless the Heat make last year's team over they wont win it. (If the Heat kept last year's team and just added some more depth and improved the team in general I think Heat would win the championship this year). I think the only reason Shaq is playing right now is a pride thing in winning a championship without Kobe.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting OrlandoMagicFan:</div><div class="quote_post"> I think the only reason Shaq is playing right now is a pride thing in winning a championship without Kobe.</div> He cant win without kobe! He should just retire now, I mean did he really think he was gonna win one without kobe?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting amador08:</div><div class="quote_post">He cant win without kobe! Also, the team will surely get back on track when the Deisel returns. C'mon bro, how can you say he can't win without Kobe?
I hate the Shaq vs Kobe homers. Just accept it. Shaq and Kobe together is better than Shaq and Kobe on their own. If they stayed together they wouldve/couldve gone down as the best duo ever. They both can win without the other one but honestly they do need each other. They are 2 of the top 5 players in the league. Add role players and you have a championship team.
2-4 week injury for shaq means: Minimum of 4 weeks, probably more. Come back 5 lbs heavier. Blame team for bad record. Sorry, just his track record.
^^ wow thats arguably one of the dumbest posts ever, he's already in rehab buddy and 5lbs heavier will not happen, he hasn't blamed any1 he's just not happy with the bickering.

When he was on the Lakers it took him forever to come back from a toe injury and he came back heavier than ever.
I agree Kobe and Shaq together is good combination. But Shaq is a liability when you think about it cuz you never know if somone steps on his big toe he will be out for acouple weeks.
They're saying Shaqs gonna be out 6 weeks instead of 4....Let the downfall begin. Luckily the Heat have one of the other top 10 players in the L in Dwayne Wade
well the next two games r pretty lgiht vs. the Hornets and Blazers so hopefully we'll get those, hopefully he'll come back soon because we need him.
It's kind of ironic that the most massive, strongest player in the league can at the same time be so fragile and injury prone. I think the extra weight he put on in the summer might have made the ankle injury worse than it would have been otherwise. About 25-30 extra lbs fell on that ankle than would have been the case last year.
i was dissapointed becuas elast year Shaq looked great and he was very cut but now hes back to being a tub of lard
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker15:</div><div class="quote_post">i was dissapointed becuas elast year Shaq looked great and he was very cut but now hes back to being a tub of lard</div> Yea I think the lakers made a good decision in getting rid of him. Even though they didnt good anything good for him at least they cleared room in their cap
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker15:</div><div class="quote_post">i was dissapointed becuas elast year Shaq looked great and he was very cut but now hes back to being a tub of lard</div> Wonder who called that one. Or am I just ignorent?
that statement doesn't regard the injury eberyone saw him differently this year and we know he isn't as cut you think he'll ruin team chemistry and blame other your wrong.
