If it is the Eagles vs. Panthers, I do not see them beating us on their turf. That stadium will be half filled with Eagles fans (I've been to Carolina before, I know). And since this is being a rematch from 2 years ago, it only adds that much more fuel to the fire.

I also dont think the steelers are a super Bowl team. Their D is good, but offensively they will struggle a ton this year. I doubt that Bettis will be as good as he was last year, and Staley seems to be injured all the time now. And without that running game, Roethlisberger will struggle a bit. They might make the playoffs, but not No.1 seed.

Panthers are sold out all games of the season, so i think if we made it to the playoffs it would be 90% panther fans.

Wow, your really high on the Cards. Any reasons behind it? And personally, I dont think the Panthers are that good, but this is your predictions, not mine...

There is certainly a lot of hype surrounding the Panthers right now, but it just might be setting up the Panthers fans for a very big let down in the end. Panthers definitely aren't going to see the SB this year, hell they won't even win the division this year.

Better D, yes I agree. Better offense, hell no! The Packers have a much better offense than the Panthers.

I don't have to wait and see. The Panthers haven't been able to buy a W against the Falcons and this year won't be any different. [IMG]

The jets will finish 2nd in the east. It was a toss up between them & the Jags for the last playoff spot.

Carolina, though, has an OL not made of (dare I say) Swiss "Cheese"

Carolina has weapons on offense. Davis, Foster, Shelton (rookie RB), S Smith, Gardner, Colbert, & of course Delhomme.

You consider Del-home-less to be a weapon? Right... lets compare.
    Brett Favre - Jake Delholmme
    Ahman Green - DeShaun Foster
    Javon Walker - Steve Smith
hmm.. good o-line or not, the Panthers will struggle on offense while the Packers will do fine.

    Well; thats your opinion.

I never said the Packers would struggle. Do NOT put words in my mouth.

Its Defense that wins championships. I wonder; Will Green Bay be using the vaunted matador Defense this season? Other than Jim Bates, Diggs, & KGB, they have precious little else.

We are not comparing the packers offense to the panthers, we were comparing the falcons to the panthers

The lowly Vikings beating Americas Team? I Don't think so Homey! We're going deep in the playoffs this year... We're gonna run the NFC this year. Philly who? Let Terrell Owens come through the middle on Roy Williams again. This time he'll break both legs on that loudmouthed punk! [IMG]

Welcome to the forums, F_S_R... Good to have you here.

As for the Panthers, Sports Illustrated just picked them to win the Superbowl, so that's where a lot of the "hype" is coming from.

I agree that Panthers have a better offense and defense than the Falcons. Regardless, the Falcons seem to have their number.

The only thing stoping the panthers is VICK, and hopefully Thomas Davis is the new anti-Vick weapon so we can beat him. Vick just flat out win games

Everyone likes the Cats this year. I'll go with the Chargers & Falcons. However like the Tuna I reserve the right to change my mind. [IMG]
