I blame this loss on the refs. How can they not call a foul when Bonner went up for that lay-up in the first half!?!..... an outrage I tell you......
Well we were all expecting a loss, so s'all good. Anyways, Calderon rocks, he's been doing really good, and his PG mentality is great. Outside of that, meh...
All Calderon, Villanueva and Graham will all be on the Rookie squad in Feb. I don't mind the losses at all, as long as Bosh, Calderon, Villanueva, Graham and Bonner all get great PT. I don't want to see a win with Rose playing 40 minutes to get that win. That is not what this season is about.
Calderón is a great PG. Maybe he doesn't shot enough, but he's a leader, he make his mates better. they improves with Calderón near.

Calderon is just plain great. I really think we should think soon about starting all our young guys and giving them the most playing time, maybe after about 20 games. PG- Jose SG- Graham SF- Villanueva PF- Bosh C- Arajuo And experient around with that the rest of the season so we can get them playing time and experience. P.S - Bosh needs to pick it up... now.
I think we should keep giving our young guys PT and still try to win. I think we have a while to go before our chemistry and defense come together. Although Calderon seems to be improving our chemistry so far.
We all knew this would happen. It just brings us one step closer to the Rudy Gay sweepstakes. I can't wait for draft day....6 months from now! Calderone with 10 assists yesterday is probably the one good thing we could take from that game. Otherwise it was another bad loss against a playoff and possibly title contender.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting CourtVision:</div><div class="quote_post">We all knew this would happen. It just brings us one step closer to the Rudy Gay sweepstakes. I can't wait for draft day....6 months from now!</div> We'll probably draft Josh Boone.
I noticed something disturbing in the game yesterday that Swirsky touched on in the last game against New Jersey. Bonner isn't doing anything. We signed him for how much (?-like 2 mil per) after he wanted more and ultimately he is turning out to be a liability. Prince torched him (course Prince was on fire last night) and Bonner couldn't stop him at all, get a shot off, he just kinda hung out on the perimeter. Swirsky said that teams this year have figured out he is a one dimensional player. Ya he has good hustle which is something the Raps could have more of, but really.....I dunno. This'll probably piss a lot of people off cuz for some reason they're all over his jock, but I haven't seen anything that merits it or makes me think it was a good basketball move over a good publicity move by Babcock.
Bonner's game is nothing new. The Raps knew what they were getting when they signed him, and the main difference in the three games this season is that he's been trying to put the ball on the floor. If he sticks with his strengths, Bonner will be much more effective. As for his defense on Prince, that was more of a coaching mistake. Everybody knows that Bonner's not quick enough to guard Prince, and Flip just made sure that they exploited that matchup over and over again. Graham or Mopete should have been on Prince, not Bonner.

Anyways, although Rose had a good game on paper, he still was pissing me off at times last night. In one stretch he could be playing great team ball and making smart shots, then in the next stretch, he'd resort back to his me-first/horrible shot selection mode. I'm in agreement w/ everyone though, Calderon was the only bright spot last night..... and once again, Bosh continues to struggle ....
