Bucks as well as the Clippers. Both are playing like top teams, something nobody could have expected.

The Pacers would not be considered a surprise team. Geez. They lost to the Pistons in 6, without arguably their best player last year.

Theres NO DOUBT its the Kings. So far they are so surprisingly bad that people are already saying theyll barely make the playoffs if at all.

That would disappointment of the year. Surprise usually means who will exceed expectations.

The most surprising teams for me this season have been the Clippers and the Bucks, I had no idea they were going to start off so well like this.

I think its going to be between the Clippers, Wizards, Bucks and possibly the Bulls. With the loss of Eddy Curry I know I didnt expect much from the bulls but there doing very good repping Chi-Town and I think they can keep this up and be a playoff team once again this year. Bucks and Wizards are just doing better than I thought, and the Clippers have amazed me so far with there play and attitude, also James Singleton and Sam Cassell have been great along with Cat Meowbly.

How the hell are the clippers a surprise. Were there honestly alot of people that didnt expect the clippers to be better than usual? Same with Milwaukee. Im telling you, its the Kings. NOBODY thought theyd play this poorly....surprise surprise.

True, but I am sure the Kings will bounce back. Too many scoring options for them to not be at least be 6th seed. Its surprising they have had this slow start, especially since they still have there Bibby-Peja-Miller combo, with the compliments of Wells and Shareef. They will figure out a system that works.

Denver has failed to meet my expectations. Everyone knew the Clippers would be great, but not damn great. I saw them as a 6th seed team if everything went well, now it looks like they could be 2nd. They are on fire from the get go.

How are the Clippers not a surprise? I guarantee u NOBODY predicted them to be 5-1 right now. Don't act like you knew they were gonna go 5-1 and have one of the top records in the West. That's just insane. The Clippers??? They're one of the surprise teams (in terms of doing well) and Sac is definitely another surprisingly crappy team right now. The Kings need to get their act together or they might just find themselves fighting for one of the bottom western playoff spots.

I expected the Bucks and Clippers to play well so it is no surprise to me. I am surprised by the Wizards however, they are playing very well. I am also surprised that the Oklahoma City Hornets have been playing real well despite a losing record.

Clippers baby, best start in franchise history! Blowing out the Bucks by 31pts halfway through the 4th qtr.

Clippers have been the biggest surprise, but no doubt they'll turn to rubbish again at some point. It's their tradition.

Seattle's start has also surprised me. I didn't expect them to repeat last years effort but never thought they'd start so poorly.

I don't know but with you it seems as if you need to mention the Kings name some how no matter what even if they don't fit that criteria. Surprise teams are usually ball clubs that excel after coming into the season with low expectations. In that case the Clippers and Bucks are so far the surprise teams of the year if you ask me. In a way the Pistons could also be up there but there are not touching the Clips or Bucks as far as that surprise label goes. As for your Kings, yes they are doing poorly which is a surprise, but they are not what we call a surprise team, they are what we call "the biggest dissapointment(s)".

For a minute I was gonna agree with you on that while watching the game just now vs Lakers (Odom's steals and baskets), but I don't think it's gonna be the case this year. We now have Sam "Alien" Cassell who's an exception veteran leaader and an improving Elton Brand who played like a maniac tonight (23pts, 14rebs, 5blks)

I prayed the Pistons would falll off this year. I prayed and payed they would be a fluke. I prayed Larry Brown was the only reason they ever got to the playoffs.

I have been punk'd. They are a great ball club, with a legit chance at the tittle. I still dislike the way some of them try to win, but they have everything you need, and by that I mean they have EVERYTHING from fast break to clutch to extreme defense.

Damn you Detroit, this year I will prey for you, I will praise you this year. Then you will finally fall off. Its now a like-hate thing for me when it comes to this.

Sam does have a history of both injury and destabilising organisations though.

If he keeps his current form up and continues behaving himself there is a chance you'll continue on like you are now, but if he gets hurt or goes back to his old bitching ways you may just unravel.
