    Hoopshype just stated that
Crawford is pissed off that he is benched..
I honestly dont like Larry Brown as a coach..
Crawford being benched does not make sense at all
and he is not giving ANY minutes to Nate Robinson..
Nate can be a deadly player in the future but larry brown is just not going to give him any minutes this season!

Larry Brown will not play people who don't play defense. Crawford has no one to blame except himself. If he doesn't want to commit to the defensive side of the game, then he's going to ride pine.

Larry Brown is a Nate supporter, but Nate blew his chances in the preseason to earn quality PT. He was too, erratic on the court and didn't protect the basketball. Also, he's a rookie, and Brown has had a history of not playing first year players many minutes, unless they are exceptional.

Crawford never said anything about being pissed about not starting. He did say it was a bit different at first and he understands Brown wants to have someone who can play the 1 or 2 off the bench. He will be plenty of minutes, just not starting.

I dont see this necessarily as a bad thing for Crawford, Jamal could win 6th man of the Year if he played like he did in a starting role last year. JC's minutes arent going to decrease and he's only gonna be as good as he makes himself. Players need to start sucking it up and acting like proffesionals Im tired of hearing all this complaining, your getting paid so do your job.

Barnes wont stay a started for long. I see him more dangerous as a 6th man more then a starter. During the preseason I did see alot of improvement on the defensive side from Crawford.

Honestly, I say give Nate more minutes. The guy comes in and almost always makes things happen. He plays with more heart than anybody on the Knicks. It just seems like some of the players don't have alot of energy, Nate and Lee come in and bring some much needed hustle. I say to Larry Brown, "forget about loyalty to the veterans". If the rookies keep playing the way they're playing, they need to be on the court. Especially if they play like the played against Washington.

Nate is alright. I still think he's too hyper and that forces TO's which he commits alot. He also takes bad shots and not much of a passer. Nate does bring energy and the ability to score. Yea, the starting players dont play with much energy. Ariza, Frye, Lee, and robinson all bring that to the table. LB shouldve left the rookies in the end of the warriors game. The rookies were the ones who built that 5 pt lead and the veterans let it slip by. LB should play the rookies more. But i also kind of agree with the move because veterans have more experience in closing out a game. The knicks are a better team than 0-3. They have too much talent. Crawford turns the ball over too much and does not take care of the ball. PG is not crawford's best position.

Well Nate is still a rookie and his mistakes I can deal with... he'll learn. The main thing is he changes the tempo of the game with his speed and hustle. Add that with Lee and Frye and Ariza.. and they've got a solid young core they need to groom.

I'm one of the few people who wants JC to start again.... it's obvious he's struggling off the bench and maybe is one of those players who plays well starting. I'm also not a fan of Q playing SG.. he's better suited at SF and as you can see.. since the change in position.. he's struggled.

Barnes is a good hustle guy... and I like his defense but he couldn't hit the side of a barn on offense. When he shoots my teeth hurt.

I'd like to see JC start again.. then sit him down.. put Steph at the 2.. give nate the ball.. then have JC fill in for either. But I would still start him. And I'd Sub Trevor for Q. And even play Lee a bit at SF.. he can slash like a SF and his rebounding would help at that position... not to mention his built wouldn't let him get posted up by most SF's.

Frye should be the back up PF, he's got a better shot than Mo or Rose and put him behind AD. I'd even put AD at center and play them at the same time.

he should worry about his jumpshot and assists instead of worrying about being benched .. If he posts up good numbers.. his minutes will rise and could be a starter.. But he isnt.

    Not really news.

Any player would be pissed if they had their minutes significantly droppedcoming off the bench.
