Even is right. You would rather have Iverson if you have Rashard Lewis at small and you would rather T-Mac if you could get say Arenas at point. Personally I think Iverson is the better player, but for fantasy purposes they are as equal as two players playing different ends of the floor can be.
I'd rather have McGrady only because of AI's durability (I'm not looking good since TMac is out for 3 weeks now with back spasm ): .. )
I'd take McGrady ahead of Iverson. The low FG% and amount of TOs Iverson gets you is a killer in fantasy leagues.
TMac is better in fantasy than Iverson. He gets more blocks, better FG%, more treys and a better % there as well, more boards, and a good amount of assists. Iverson is very TO prone and his FG% can kill you sometimes as well.
I'd have to go with T-Mac too. He can beat Iverson in most of the catergories, except steals, and assists. He might also beat Tracy in points by a little margin. They're both good players but fantasy wise, Iverson's field goal percentage and tournovers brings him down. I also heard Iverson had a knee problem.
Iverson in both fantasy ball and real life. AI led the Sixers to the Finals before with just a decent team, McGrady had a chance with the Magic, but had the worst record (or close to it) his last yr with the Magic. T-Mac finally returned to the playoffs with Yao and the Rockets. AI plays through a lot of injuries too and I would rather have him handle the ball for a last shot..hopefully driving. It's really close though, but I would draft AI over T-Mac in fantasy leagues and in the NBA.
Id take T mac,even AI got him in some categories,T mac gives u evrything and in good amounts.He'll average like 26 or 27ppg,7rpg,5apg,and good 3pt percentage.Take T mac even though he injured now
