I won't disagree that Favre is a media DARLING. I just wouldn't call him a media WHORE.

Two very different things. It even makes ME sick how much sportscasters kiss his ass.

 

Bengals...hm I would have to say Brian Simmons, he is just underrated and under spoken, he is the true Leader of the Bengals D...and possibly the whole team.

 

Yes it is very true how his ass is royally kissed by just about every national sports caster but calling him a Whore is just wrong this guy comes and plays unselfishly every game and the media captilizes on his efforts turning him into a media hero, is it his fault? No

Well ever player plays bad games. The thing with Favre is when he does play a bad game see 2001(I think it was) against the Rams in the playoffs. He threw 6 INT's. The next season he comes out and has a Pro Bowl year. As for the "mistique" Isn't the media always all over someone who is in the last run of their career. John Elway Dan Marino to name a few that are trying to win a Super Bowl. The answer is yes they are. So don't blame the player blame the media. The true Media "whore" is Drew Rosenhaus. Everytime he gets a chance he talks to the media or goes on national television. How many other agents do that. Him and TO are a nice pair for each other.
