This dude needs to just stay away from anything related to the knicks; <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"Former Knick Tim Thomas, part of the deal that brought Eddy Curry to the Knicks, took an unveiled slap at his former team while praising his current Chicago Bulls teammates. Thomas was asked about how he saw the Knicks fitting in with one of his former coaches, Larry Brown. "I'm not even concerned with that. I'm not there," Thomas said. "Ask me about my point guards here." OK. How are your point guards in Chicago? "They're great. They pass the ball," Thomas said. Draw your own conclusion, please." New York Post</div> source
That's very laughable. Tim Thomas of all people shouldn't be talking about how Marbury never passed him the rock. Since when has Tim Thomas done anything he deserves the ball for? Especially in the beginning of last season when he was just terrible. Thomas is just bitter about the Knicks dealing him and getting two players who are both better than him.
Its funny because he actually thinks he's a valued member of the Bulls. He's just there for the money that he frees up next year, and if he wasn't so blinded by his own pride he'd realize it.

I dont know why Knicks fans are shocked....this is right up TT alley. After this cat leaves a team he always blames the stars for his lack of success as a player while he was on the team he booted from...after leaving Philly he complained he couldnt develope alongside AI, then went on to stink it up in Milwaukee..got traded from there to the Knicks...but on the way out complained that the Big three(Cassell, Ray Allen, Glenn Robinson) were secretly jealous of him...so they stopped his growth by pretty isolating him from the offense...so now that the Knicks traded him...he off course has to find a new scapegoat for why he didnt work out in a Knicks uniform. And so along with his normal m-o, he pushes blame toward the star, which happens to be Marbury. Now, I do agree that he has played with some dominating personalities and probably had a somewhat difficult time adjusting playing along guys that dominate the basketball like alot of those guys do, I think TT's comments fit in to exactly the type of player he is, a sorry excuse...and he will never live up to any potential he once had...because he doesnt really have the motivation or work ethic to do what it takes to get to the type of level projected upon him when he came out of Villi. It is much easier for a guy like Thomas to make excuses and pass blame on his career failures then to actually work hard and get better.
The knicks should've kept Keith Van Horny. He's more of a complete player then TT is. Dam, all the ex-knicks bashing marbury. Why dont they see thats it their fault that they didnt stay in the team.

When you dont win playing the style that he plays people are going to criti,c simple as that..and I dont really blame most... Marion, Amare, Martin etc have all complained that growth in their games and team success is difficult to achieve with Marbury at the point. And I can respect when those guys say it because it holds wieght, those guys are hard workers.. look at Marions work ethic playing alongside Nash after Marbury left, Martin continued to grow alongside Kidd and Nash has alot to do with Amare reaching toward becoming one of the leagues more dominate 4's. So these guys have proven put them alonside more team first guards and they can be special. And that is where them and Thomas differ...so Iam not saying that Tim Thomas' comments dont have a ring of truth..but coming from him, they just dont hold any wieght, simply nothing more then another Tim Thomas excuse in my eyes.
