    Quick Recap

I haven't really studied up on the Bucks, but they look pretty solid on paper after that Magloire trade. TJ Ford is a lightning quick guard who has excellent courtvision and creativity, but has some problems shooting the ball (Imagine if Speedy Claxton was more creative). Michael Redd is an explosive player that is known for scoring and lightning it up with consecutive shots from almost anywhere on the floor. His shot mechanics seem a little bit bizzaare but he gets the ball off extremely quick. Bobby Simmon is an athletic, strong, all around type of player, but he's known for playing physical and getting points close to the basket as well shooting a now decent jumper. Andrew Bogut seems like a solid Brad Miller type player because of his high post passing skills, but with an additional low post game and the ability to kick out from the double team. He's probably only as athletic as Troy Murphy and just as laterally quick, but he can run the floor pretty fast just like Murphy and rebound like him too. Magloire is an all-star center in the East, has a good nba body, and is above average on both ends of the floor. Contrary to the belief that he is a true center, he's really only about 6'9-6'10 (Foyle's size) and has the skills to play a power forward.

The Bench looks pretty so so right now. They've got Mo Williams who is a decent playmaker and streaky scorer who is the team's only real guy that stands out as an immediate contributor. They've got an aging Toni Kukoc, former Warrior Jiri Welsch is injured, Charlie Bell is talented but is a 6'3 shooting guard, Gadzuric is solid as a backup, they've got a project at small forward (that Turkish small forward that plays like a Dirk Nowitzki). I think former Warrior Joe Smith is out.

    Keys to Victory

. Don't turn the ball over, play physical, move the ball, box out, hit those free throws, take the ball inside and make the Bucks' big men work a lot harder than they are used to. Use the Warriors depth to outlast the Bucks.

To take TJ Ford out of the game, have Baron post him up every single time down the floor and force him to reach. If Magloire or Bogut want to post up on us, bring in Foyle or Taft to control the paint, double team when necessary, but don't leave Redd wide open (let Simmons or Ford shoot as much as they want from deep). In some matchups a Zarko/Murphy at center might work to nail some open shots if the bigs don't want to come out of the paint to contest (this is only if our shots are falling, we can't have Murphy shoot 4 for 14). If Redd is too much trouble for Jrich, put Pietrus on him and move Jrich to small forward where he can match up with Simmons. I'm not sure how Dunleavy would match up on Simmons, but I'd like to see him face Toni Kukoc off the bench, another high basketball I.Q. player that is known for versatility. Hopefully, the game will be won big by us because the Bucks are still questionable in terms of perimeter D, bench depth and their ability to shoot. They've got multiple inside the paint scorers to keep things close. Can Fisher win the game for us again if we play the smaller line-up of Baron Davis, Fisher, Richardson?

    Notes

We will be facing ex-Warriors assistant Terry Stots

I hope they make at least 70% of their FT's tonight.

Heh...and that's not asking much. What they really need to do is shoot 99% from the line so we can at least rest assure that their free throw woes are just a phase and not a season long disease.

BTW - who's that chick in your signature? [IMG]

Baron is going to have a hell of a time guarding the quick TJ Ford, especially with his hamstring still sore. Redd is going to get 20+ for sure, he bombed on us last time but Fisher bailed us out. What we need is 5 players on the court, not the usual 4 that we've seen lately. Hope Dunleavy comes out of his slump since Monty doesn't give Pietrus more than 20 mins a night.

And the girl in my avatar is Hyori, korean singer.

The Bucks have had some solid games of late. They've beaten the Sixers, the Nets, and the Shaq-less Heat. Their starting 5 is completely revamped and Stotts has them running pretty well. I think this might be a true test of the Warriors ability to run and gun, plus we'll see how this quietly quality defense holds up against a high scoring team.

In terms of numbers, I think the Bucks can sustain scoring 100+ each night, we'll have to see if the Warriors can consistently keep the other team from scoring 100+.

By the way. The game is on FSNBA +. Don't forget that PLUS means its either on Ch. 77 on Comcast, 655 on DirecTV, and 445-448 on Dish Network. Go here to check out your channel...http://www.fsnbayarea.com/plus/

    Go W's.

Its time for Dunleavy to have the ball in his hands more and use Baron to post up TJ. Plus it'll be nice to have Dunleavy up top so Bobby Simmons is out of position for the defensive rebound.

Hmm, all I'm finding is this stupid shopping network channel on 77. This better turn into the Warriors game or I'm going to have to shoot someone. [IMG]

    EDIT: OKAY, it worked!

Great action so far (6 mins into 1st Q).

Wow, J-Rich with 8 rebounds already. This is the most fluid the W's have looked. Keep it up for 48 mins!

It's all about the 2nd half, who cares about the first half as long a we don't get blown out to the point of no return.

Fisher needs to start nailing that bank shot from the left wing. That's the third or fourth time I've seen him this year that he's over shot it. It's a good shot, but for whatever reason, he's putting too much mustard into it.

I'd like to see Dunleavy drive a bit more as he's been pretty non-existent so far.

Not bad first half, considering we have basically zero fast break to speak of. Both Richardson and Redd are going off, Davis is creating whenever he drives to the hoop, and Fisher, Murphy, Foyle and Taft all contributed...

    Halftime

    Warriors 53
    Bucks 53

    Top Performers
GSW: JRich 13 pts, 10 reb, 1 ast
MIL: Redd 13 pts, 2 reb, 2 ast, 2 stl

Both teams playing well. Warriors free throws look better (7/9). Only issue has been turnovers. Dunleavy still sucks.

Thanks. It was an impressive game for both teams.

Davis had high and low, but when it counted, he made all key plays. When he drives, good thing happens.
Richardson and Redd played toe to toe and carried both teams in 1st half.
Dunleavy made himself visible in 3rd quarter, making two 3 pts.
Murphy was on in second half.
Again, Foyle was quite impressive on defense end.
Along with Murphy, Fisher did very well in 4th quarter.

What impressed me the most is that we had minimum fast break, but we still ended up shooting 50% and scored 110 pts. Of course, shooting 13-27 from the 3 pts always helps. We live and die with 3 pts, and it saved us today...
