Shaq Not Happy with Walker & Williams <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Heat buzz: We hear Shaquille O'Neal wasn't happy about the exchange of words between Jason Williams and Antoine Walker during Monday's game and doesn't want it to happen again. Walker, meantime, has become increasingly vocal in the locker room. . . . It was notable that several Nets players wouldn't go as far as to say this season's Heat team, when injured players return, will be better than last season's. Richard Jefferson echoed the thoughts of many -- the Heat is better offensively, worse defensively. '' Eddie Jones is missed [defensively],'' Vince Carter said. ``Eddie took a lot of pressure off Dwyane Wade.''</div> Source
I KNEW IT! It was going to happen sooner or later. You'd have to be a moron to think Miami was going to be a Spur-happy family. This is their ticket out of the NBA championship.
i think its a little early to say that...and anyone picking miami to take it over san antonio is sleeping anyways is this the first time two players have had an argument? obviously not...i would barely even call this news worthy...the season just sarted...they've got a whole year to settle any differences. if any really need settling
I've no doubt they'll implode, but i think too much was made of the Walker/J-Will argument. People are looking for something to happen given the reputations of those involved, so they're going to jump on even the slightest problem.
This is not good, the last thing you want is Toine and Williams to have verbal arguments, but the good thing is..Shaq said thats enough and when Shaq says its enough no more bull then its enough. They all know if they break down and fight over stupidity they will lose and crumble, so ask yourself you really think they want to lose probably their best chance to a title?
I knew it would start to happen. Just didn't think this early. Wooooo Whoooo! Remember this article? http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41378
We all knew it was going to happen sooner or later, but I agree that they are taking things way out of perportion. A lot of teams have this problem, probably all.

Wooooo Whoooo!</div> Wait wait wait, lets not get to excited here Yes, they did already argue, but fact of the matter is.......BIG WHOOP they argued.. Does this automaticly mean the Heat will have a huge melt down and will have a bad season? NOPE
well, i said it before and ill say it again, i have no idea why miami would trade away a team that would basically be nba champs for two team cancers in williams and walker. but, the good thing is that miami has shaq, and if they dont listen to shaq.......
Well I don't know if I'd say they are imploding just yet. Shaq is right and Toine is really screwing things up. If it keeps up this way, I don't think he will last past the deadline.
I think Walker would change and take less shots. He seems to take too many shots again and to make it worse he argues with not an oppnent but his own teammate. I agree with playmaker, if he keeps it up he will be traded and I think the Heat won't regret it.
What? pulling a Kobe? What? Wahh? Anyways.... its not like anybody expected chemistry problems on the team. My take: Shut-up until you can actually play on the court.

That's all I gotta say about what I've seen from Walker so far.
As opposed to saying I knew it, most of you should be saying "I wanted this to happen". Most people really just wanted it to happene because they don't want the Heat to be good. Teams have disputes. Having one dispute does not mean total meltdown for the team.
i think that walker should assume his position as a role player. they dont need another leader when they already have flash and shaq. he is the third, maybe fourth best player on the team. i thought that this would happen because he would either jack up shots or start some other dispute. they should try to get a different player who accepts the position as a role player, maybe even a defensive-minded guy like george lynch or someone like that.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Teams have disputes. Having one dispute does not mean total meltdown for the team. </div>Exactly. Teams probably have many disputes against each other at times like running back on defense or offense, getting ready to set a play, or going back to the bench once a timeout was called. Walker just got a little too heated and it made it seem like Williams and Walker couldn`t gel.

It's simply that we've seen what happens when Shaq tries to lure a bunch of big names in to win a ring. I can understand that the Heat wanted to upgrade at the pg position (whether or not Williams is an upgrade is another argument), but why do they need Antoine Walker? He's proven to be reckless and a cancer. Hasmlem, Doleac, and Laettner were getting all the open looks in the world. The Heat had a great three point shooter in Damon Jones, and a decent one in Eddie Jones. Instead of keeping them, they let them both go and brought in two guys who have been know to play out of control. I didn't want this to happen, but I did see it coming. Actually, I think that this is getting blown out of proportion, and Shaq simply said these things to be a leader. Wade is too quiet, and Shaq knew that it was up to him. I don't think Shaq is actually as mad as we all believe.
yeah.....this kind of team is never goona work...... just like the old lakers..... too many allstar... speically if you got some one like walker, williams.. hope wade can became a really leader~ get them together~ piStonS.... 5-0..
I'm actually happy with Jason Williams I hitnk he's running the offense well, but Toine is taking way to many shots and it needs to change when Shaq gets back.
