He also spoke to Collier's wife Katie and daughter Ella, who sat near courtside for the tribute, to tell them of the Hawks' love and friendship for their fallen teammates. Collier died Oct. 15 of a heart attack. The Hawks will wear black patches on their jerseys in his honor and several players wear black wristbands with Collier's No. 40 on them.
