<div class="quote_poster">Quoting K8B:</div><div class="quote_post">Wasn't too much for Kobe's point predicition with the way his season was going. At the half, he had 18 points on 8-13 shooting. He was on pace for 46, I think it was a fair prediction, as a lot of people will tell you. The whole Laker offense just died in the second half of the game.</div> A. 18 at the half is on pace to get 36, not 46. B. It was a high prediction because the Wolves are more of a defensive oriented team - and have Trenton Hassell to lock down on Kobe.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting K8B:</div><div class="quote_post">It was a joke </div> sorry man, i cant really tell on the internet, but anyways, like most of you said, we had a complete 2nd half colapse, which i thought is unacceptable, and i bet phil jackson will get on them for this one. my main problem though was the phantom foul calls the lakers got throughout the game. i think this was one of their problems in the game. the continuous fouls really brought down the confidence for the players, which led to missed shots, no D, no hustle and ect. i just hope that the lakers bounce back for the next one, or at least let the nba hire some decent refs!!
--- Duplicate post I made in another thread --- Smush had a poor outing against Minnesota yesterday. I think Phil tried to experiment by changing his game plan to see how Smush plays without shooting the ball a lot and be more involved in passing, but the Lakers lost the game because he wasn't aggressive. He needs to play a key role and try to be the 3rd leading scorer in the team if the Lakers are to make it to the playoffs.

I don't think it was a high prediction, Kobe has been rolling all year. Shooting around 50% every game, and getting good looks. Kobe was rolling, the whole Laker offense was just stagnet in the 2nd half of the game, if it wasn't for that, Kobe would've been between 36 - 42 points in the game.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting purehoops:</div><div class="quote_post">A little much for a predicition don't you think? Not the best game for Garnett... 8-16 from the field, not his best shooting night but Im glad to see Griffen get quality minutes. I couldn't catch the game but I wondering if Griffen had any of the minutes with Garnett on the floor?</div> Yeah he played quite a bit with KG on the floor because Kandi was in foul trouble most of the night. Him and KG switched back and forth on Kwame and Odom.

I wanted to see Griffen get a few quality minutes with Garnett on the floor ... it would help Griffen play better team defense, and maybe get a few open looks and slashes to the basket.
did anyone else feel Phil sat down Kobe for way too long during the second half? I understand that he is trying to allow the Lakers to win without always needing Kobe, but leaving Kobe out, then when they're down by like 6-8pts bringing him in and forcing him to try and bring back to Team is stupid. What a tough game tonight against 76ers. Kobe couldn't have gotten a better look at the end, just a tough, tough break. They had him on lock down the whole game, triple teaming all the time. We were doing great until the 4th, I feel they should have used Kobe in the post, forced a double or triple then kick out to the wing or corner for some good looks.
