Try not to remember the lottery that screwed us out of Duncan tonight. He's never lost to the Celtics in his career, and most likely, that will continue tonight.

Screw Tim Duncan. Forget the 1997 Draft. Pitino wanted to get the #1 and #3 picks so he could take Tim Duncan at center and Keith Van Horn at power forward (Toine would've played small forward or been traded for a point guard). Since Rick DIDN'T get his man, his time in Boston was all downhill. I'm gonna watch this game since Michael Finley and Brent Barry are out and Ginobili is beat up like Rodney King after a routine traffic stop. Hopefully, they can pull it out tonight...One.

We can't score, we're turning the ball over, and they are getting whatever they want.

I think it's going to be a long night.

Yeah...how about that Tim Duncan, huh? That was a NIGHTMARE of a 1st quarter. Tommy Heinsohn is really convinced this game is winnable. Well, I guess if Scalabrine comes out with the hot hand and plays excellent defense then we'll climb right back in this one!...For those of you unfamiliar with the concept of sarcasm, THAT WAS IT. One.

    haha...if we're counting on Veal, we're done.

The second unit is playing great D, and we're closing the gap. They play so much better with Gomes and Al in there. It's down to 6.

More than winnable. I like just tuned in and Ricky's playing lights out. Why's Veal out there? That's right, he's Doc's little pet. How's the Bowen-Pierce matchup looking?

By the way, does Tim Duncan have fecal matter in his hair?

But, man Ricky is on fire! Manu can't contain him at all. I bet H.ayes is crying right now because he's in love with him.

I hope he doesn't cry too hard, this is the C's we're talking about here. Pierce just smoke Bowen for all he's worth, so I'll just base my assumptions of their matchup based on that. Hey, Veal just walked, what else can he do wrong? I don't care what you say, Thrilla, I won't believe it 'till I see it. This game cannot be close come the fourth, I don't think we can handle a fresh A-Squad that late in the game. Right now, I think we're looking at a ten point loss. A good third quarter and we could squeak out a 3 or 4 point win. It'll come down to the bench.

Hmmm. 39-39 with 2:53 on the clock. Scalabrine gets the ball with a chance for the 1st lead of the game...and he travels. At least he's consistent. Pierce and Davis are hotter than Hef's youngest girlfriend right now. Tim Duncan just hit a three...damn! Nazr Mohammed's in the game. They waited for Bowen to miss that shot before they called the foul, what a bail out. Blount's back in. 43-39 and The Truth knocks it down again. Flamehead's stickin' Nazr and they pull down the re. Paul throws it away....Final minute. Parker drives on everybody. Set offense. Raef knocks down a three. Tony drives down the middle again like everyone was in a Soul Train Line! 47-44 with 26.4 left in the half. Dickau turns it over with 6.5 left in the half. Defensive subs. Ball into Parker who kicks to TD for the trey....missed wide left. 47-44 at the half. One.

Pop gets them focused and motivated at halftime, so we need to make our move late in the 3rd.

By the way, who is Click 5? And why are they playing a concert at a Celtics game?

Couldn't tell you, are you really that interested? I heard that little snippet they have on during games, and they sound horrific. No thanks.

They sound like a band that 12 year old females listen to, and I'm not sure how that and Celtics basketball go hand in hand.

What do you mean? Don't you know 12 year old girls are the largest basketball demographic? I mean they have to be, every time we come back from commercial during C's games, the camera man is on one. That dude running the half court camera creeps the hell outta me.

Now that was ugly. The Spurs are the team you have to look at and say damn I need to be where they are. The Spurs play as one. The Cs will get back to that threshold sooner or later. Hopefully sooner. We got our butts kicked.
