Hmmm... Still more questions than answers here. The offensive line play was really shaky for the first team offense. Favre got knocked around a bunch of times and ended up limping off the field with a sprained ankle. Not cool. I really don't think it's a question of talent, though. I think it's a question of working together as a unit. There were a lot more bad plays that were a result of missed assignments than there were as a result of the defensive player outright beating the lineman athletically.

Defensively, it was the same thing. Poor gap control. They didn't give up a 40 or 50 or 60 yard run, but Chris Brown and Walter Payton's kid didn't have any trouble rattling off 4 - 9 yard runs. The front four was getting manhandled and pushed into the linebackers and that's not cool at all. They're going to need to mix it up a bit with blitzes or something or it's going to be a long season.

Penalties were atrocious. FIVE PERSONAL FOULS? Awful... Talk about beating yourselves. Ugh...

B.J. Sander looked really good again. I guess we don't have to worry about the kicking game this year. That's cool...

Special teams coverage was still pretty average. The guys were getting there, but they couldn't make any tackles. Tackling needs to improve dramatically.

Rodgers finally showed something. He had the highest QB rating in the game and scored his first touchdown. That has to be a good sign.

Props to the Titans, too. I don't think they're going to be anywhere near as bad as I thought they were. Their offensive line protected McNair and Volek better than the Bills or Patriots protected Losman and Brady. Drew Bennett looks like he's not going to be a one year wonder. Brown and Payton ran really well. McNair had an awesome game. Their Defensive line is really solid. Linebackers are solid. Don't know about the secondary, though. Guess that's why they need Pac Man Jones to step up. Their special teams played pretty poorly. They should be concerned about that, too. Overall, I think the Titans should be competitive in every game they play this year. They showed a lot of promise for such a young team.

    Couple things I noticed

    1. Grey Ruegamar deserves to start. He's is a must safer option than Whittacker. Plus I think he's looked better in the past two games.

    2. Joey Thomas should start over Ahmad friendly hands Carroll. Carroll is nothing more than a nickle and dime player and I predict if Thomas can stay healthy and Hawkins continues his solid play. Carroll will be on his way out. Attitude problem and all.

    3. Aaron Rodgers deserves to be the #2 QB. Not Craig Nall. I also still think cutting Nall and keeping JT for the #3 would be better.

    4. Cledius Hunt is a joke. Grady played decent but Hunt gets beat off the ball everyplay. I rather see Corey Williams be placed in the starting lineup.

    5. Nick Collins is looking like he's gonna be a star. TT did a nice job in this credit. Maybe the best in Packer history especially if Rodgers can step in and be a solid football player. Hawkins,Collins,Underwood, and Whittacker are all potential starters down the road. Whether that potential is for real will determine the draft class.

Did you see the fight between Ruegamer and Haynesworth? Jeez... The brawl after that was cool, too. I think that's what finally woke the Packers up. They played a lot better (and harder) after that fiasco...
