    Warriors vs. Knicks

    Warriors Head Coach

    Mike Montgomery

    Warriors Starting Lineup

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    PG: Baron Davis
    SG: Jason Richardson
    SF: Mike Dunleavy
    PF: Troy Murphy
    C: Adonal Foyle

    Warriors Key Bench Players

    Mickael Pietrus
Projected Stats: 8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assists

    Chris Taft
Projected Stats: 5 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assists

    Warriors Keys To Winning<ul>
[*]Beat the Knicks bench. The Knicks have a solid bench of players like, Trevor Ariza, and Channing Frye and they could give the Warriors trouble.
[*]Win the fourth quarter. Larry Brown has been having trouble deciding who should finish out games lately. This should be something the Warriors should take advantage of and beat the winless Knicks.

    Baron Davis
Projected Stats: 24 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists

    Knicks Head Coach

    Larry Brown

    Knicks Starting Lineup

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
    PG: Stephon Marbury
    SG: Jamal Crawford
    SF: Quentin Richardson
    PF: Antonio Davis
    C: Eddy Curry

    Knicks Key Bench Player

    Channing Frye
Prjected Stats: 7 points, 5 rebound, 2 assists

    Knicks Keys To Winning<ul>
[*]Contain Davis. Baron Davis is the Warriors center-piece. If Marbury can contain Baron, this game will be very close.
[*]Lights out shooting. Jamaal Crawford and Stephon Marbury will need to get to a good shooting start and not look back tonight.
    [/list]Knicks MVP
    [IMG]
    Stephon Marbury
Projected Stats: 25 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists

    Prediction

Look for the Knicks to get out good on shooting. The Warriors will be close still maintaining a lead, and in the fourth quarter will come out to win. 105 to 93.

Let hope so. Also quote of the day regarding the game comes off of my site:

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Knicksfan3:</div><div class="quote_post">Thanks for being very nice to the Knicks and saying they will only lose by 12......I am predicting a 104-84 Warriors victory, and a Stephon Marbury / Larry Brown argument during the game. We have nothing for the Warriors, as we have nothing for any team in the NBA. Enjoy your victory FG. </div>

Oh c'mon the Knicks aren't that bad, it's just typical Isiah Thomas fashion to switch the roster again so there's no continuity or chemistry.

I think Dunleavy is a few games away from having a big game. Has it been 5 games yet? Actually, I think Dunleavy is due for a big game. We'll see if the 5 game rule applies to Dunleavy. Okay, we'll say "6 game Dunleavy rule".

It's funny that he is a Knicks fan and can still say that.

As for Dun's big game, it better happen soon because he has had no impact at all. Then again, players with new contracts are always under pressure in the first weeks. Let's hope that is it

Man if the W's were 0 and 4, I'd be saying the same thing.

(If Dunleavy's three point shot would have been a game-winning three point shot, he sure would have redeemed himself in that Chicago game, It's the only shot out of 9 or 10 attempts he made all game and it totally went to waste.)

He just needs to work on playing under pressure.

I don't know if I can watch Fisher run an offense for most of the game.

Im almost positive Baron is starting, the preview has said Fisher is the starter since Baron missed the Utah game.

The Knicks, like the Warriors, had a good draft, but for them, all 3 picks could be starting before long even if it means $30mill in contracts sit on the darkside of the bench. James appears to have regressed-and his contract will look too toxic to dump. As a PG,Marbury is a better Fish, and 3x the price tag too,so they are stuck with that chemistry. The coach likes a precise, defensive team and full effort, smart players and does not have that...not close.

Baron's running it at a Fisher tempo and we are lovin' the 3....Ah,but Pietrus turns on the jets and stuffs. Refs fail to call an offensive as no Knix could catch up.

    End of 1st

    Knicks 27
    Warriors 17

    Top Performers
GSW: Murphy 3 pts, 4 reb
NYK: Marbury 10 pts, 1 reb, 1 ast

Live and die by the 3, and tonight we are dying. They don't look good at all. No rhythm, even with Baron. Just chucking balls at the backboard.

starting to show some juice now-and penetrating more. Foyle's D helped in the 3rd as NY was "adjusting" shots a lot.....And another hangtime highlight for J Rich, followed by a 24 sec shutdown and it's looking winable now.

When J Rich and Pietrus are both in,it's hard for anyone to match that speed.
