He left the game holding his knee, and they call it an ankle sprain I do not know how that happens.

Why is AK always getting injured, and always so easily, at his age, isn't a good thing for any team even if he is an all-star.

Well Kirilenko was not really contributing much anyway, mainly missing lots of his shots and not getting anything going except his blocks. It seems that now Mehmet Okur is the new face of the Jazz with his efficient shooting and rebounding, and Deron Willaims looks promising, too. Once, Carlos Boozer and Kirilenko come back, they'll be a force to be reckoned with.

He first banged knees with Sweetney and went out, came back, shot a 3 and landed awkwardly on his ankle and was helped out and did not return. I have no idea how serious it is.

"We'll do some treatments. I think I'll be all right in about a week," Kirilenko said.</div>

    Kirilenko and Deron Williams

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Postgame X-rays were negative. Afterward Jazz trainer Gary Briggs said Kirilenko had sustained "a normal ankle sprain" and called him "doubtful" for games early this week.
"It feels not good," Kirilenko said after a length stay in the training room. "It feels bad."
Williams was feeling better, though only a bit.
He went down in the game's final minute, hopping off with the Jazz down 101-96. Asked later if the ankle was OK, Williams said, "We'll know (today)."
Briggs said Williams' sprain was the sort which he battled throughout his career at the University of Illinois, and that the Jazz won't know until Monday if the rookie point guard can play against the Knicks.
"Deron's is more of a chronic thing," Briggs said, "where we're going to address it with more strapping, more frequent changes of shoes."</div>

    Deseret News

Without Andrei Kirilenko, the Jazz could really struggle. He was missed badly last season when he was injured, and it could easily happen again this season.

What the hell...A week? My fantasy team can't go that long without him [IMG] . Now my two big shot blockers are out (AK, Dalembert). Oh well, I guess I should be thankful that he isn't out longer...well I'll wait for the teams word on the injury.

he landed on somebody else's foot...anybody that had what he had would have a sprained ankle or some sort of injury

As big as shaq daddy was...he landed on artest's foot, and is out for like 3 weeks or something
I was surprised though that artest's foot didn't break apart after shaq daddy's 330 pound landed on the "rapper"
