Nope, it isn't allowed anymore. The raised the age limit to 20, I think, and a player has to be two years removed from his high school graduation in order to enter the Draft.

I think if the player is 20 and is still in HS, he can enter the draft too.

I thought the age limit was 19!

Anyways, if you meet the age limit, but you're still in high school, you can enter the league, I think.

Basically the player has to be 19 years old and one-year removed from his high school graduation. So I'm guessing they have the choice of going to college for a year or just sitting around and waiting for a year. The second one will definitely hurt their draft stock though.

I don't think it's an and or thing. I think you have to be both 20 AND 1 year removed from graduating highschool.

its 1 year removed from highschool, not 19 not 20 just 1 year removed from senior graduation after 4 years of highschool. So its still possible if someone was born in december they could enter the nba draft at 18.

No. The rule is that you must be 19 years of age AND one year removed from your high school graduation. The excerpt from my last post was taken directly from the new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Here it is again if you guys overlooked it:

that refers to the following january, meaning if they were born prior to january they could still be 18 entering the draft, like Andrew bynum was 17 at draft but could not play untill he turned 18.

The rule is that you HAVE to be AT LEAST 19 years old AND one year removed out of high school. So in other words, you have to either skipped a year or have leave after your freshman year, and you have to at least be 19 come the end of that year. I really don't think it's that hard of a rule to understand.
