i was wondering if we were gonna see a preview. thanks man, nicely done too id like to think this will be the game where we break out of our slump. although, judging by the way we've been playing...im gonna have to say sonics will win by 10
Honestly Sam has to start Jose and bench Rose Jose is just playing amazing in 8 minutes he aldready has 6 assists A Line-up of Jose/James/Mo-Pete/Bosh/A-Williams or Jose/Mo-Pete/Graham/Bosh/A-Williams will be much better
agreed...rose has been terrible. at this point id be willing to see him out the door for a draft pick in return. graham is awful too. at least charlie V has had some signs of good play...what has graham done yet?
Chris Bosh ties the Game up wit no time left and Allens fouled out maybe the Raptors can win there 1st game.
jalen you're fired captain crunch has turned into crap'n crunch. at least it was an exciting game to watch ref's kind of screwed us imo...couple bad calls really hurt us. shard dipped the shoulder on mo pete...no question imo
Exciting game, I wouldn't say the refs screwed us because their was also the loose ball foul on Collison where I didn't see a foul at all. Their were some questionable calls both ways, but it happens. Jalen sucked in crunch time outside of the one layup.
Ya Dick Bavetta needs some geritol ... that last foul on Bosh was complete BS. Great game by Charlie .... showing everything from inside play to 3 point touch. He's a little slow on his defensive rotations but that will come with time. Calderon had some untimely turnovers but still played well overall. It was fun to watch 2 teams that play no defense slug it out.
omg what a game..raps played well tonight eventhough we lost i really dont understand one thing whyyyyyyyyyy did we put bonner on near the end? and honestly we have to include charlie and jose in the starting line-up maybe evne charlie at C
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting PlaTsanity:</div><div class="quote_post"> whyyyyyyyyyy did we put bonner on near the end? </div> Im asking the same question, as well as jalen, he was playing horrible the whole game. It was a nice game but its too bad we couldnt pull it off.
The Raptors have a lot of potential they just have to stop making stupid coaching-moves i really like Sam Mitchell but im starting to question some of his moves like putting Bonner on and getting the ball to him, etc and with Jalen Rose he needs to act like a veteran he shouldnt try to be the "man" in all games
MIKE JAMES!!! I was really starting to hate on Mike because of how he was dissapointing me in his few games as a raptor that he's played but now Im not dissapointed anymore realizing, he really is better than I thought not just because of his statline because of his play in the game and his defensive pressure. Charlie Villanueva did great but he had an ill-advised shot or two but its okay better shot selecting will come, he rebounded much better than I thought he could and played better team defense than I thought he could. Calderon was great just his two crucial turnovers brought him down in my books, and that screen by Bosh was a stupid call he didnt do anything he just turned before even setting the screen. All in all it was a good game by the raptors coming back from being down by 18, but too bad they couldnt get the win, but Im still optimistic. Last year the Bulls started 0-9 and ended being a playoff team, were still 0-6 so we can turn things around as well.
I don't know how much longer I can take Jalen Rose hoisting up illadvised shots and playing piss poor D. I don't care, if I was the coach, I would bench him until he realizes passing the ball isn't a crime. At least Bosh, CV31, and James all played great.
Hmm, I really enjoyed today's game- my old man and I were cheering and screaming when Mike James kept hitting those 3's and Bosh tieing the game. The effort was there, but the loss will not ease anything at all. I saw Babcock on his feet, in all smiles for the first time when Bosh hit the tieing shot- when will Mitchell get fired or when will the Raps decide to move players because something has to be done NOW! As much as I love Jalen Rose, out of all the people, he just isn't producing good number for the team and maybe he should be moved. The younger players (rookies and newly acquired ones) are playing great together, but the lack of veteran production is not helping at all with the situation at hand. If they do move Rose, I hope they don't take anyone from New York because they are the biggest assholes ever. By the way, Villanueva (notice he's now my favourite player) seems like he's developing much faster than Bosh did in his first year. He will be solid for this team in the future and I think Calderon played fantastic, except for the turnover that led to the defeat today. I'd really like to see this line-up start: Calderon/James/Mo-Pete/Villanueva/Bosh It just seems like they work well together as a core and Jalen Rose just doesn't seem to fit this team anymore. He looks like he's trying way too hard out there. Bonner pisses me off, they need to just forget about this guy because his E-FENCE (because there is no "D") is just killing this team.
good exciting game unlike the other ones.......and once again bonner is put on during crunch time..why?
