As Dave D'Alessandro of the Star-Ledger reported on Saturday, that was the price couple of months ago and as Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reported on Sunday, that is still the price. </div>

We just can't seem to change their mind.

I think that the Nets will make the trade for thier next year's pick. Judging by how Collins' knee is hold up, the Nets will need to get a decent big man somehow.

Well in all likelyhood it will be a late first rounder, because the Nets should be a playoff team this year and finish in the top 4 or 5 out East. He'd be a great addition for the Nets, and give them the athletic big man they've been looking for.

Would be a good deal for both teams. The Bobcats would get a first round pick to continue building for the future, and the Nets would get a very underrated big man. Believe me Nets fans, I watch Ely play quite a bit, and if he got a chance to start somewhere (since he's behind Okafor and Brezec) he could easily develop in to a 10/10 player.

We havent hit desperate yet...but we are close Scott Padgett isnt giving us anything and Collins isnt full recovered from off season surgery, thats why he cant play back to backs, imo. When we hit rock bottom with our front court then I would be willing to give up the pick...like Shape said if we do what we are surpose to meaning make the playoffs and then a solid run in the playoffs then the pick we will give up...wont be higher then the very late teens-low 20's.

Btw, I dont think Ely would start definately not this year...Collins and Krstic are pretty secure in the starting rotation...its the 2nd unit spots that are up for grabs right now.

Unless the Nets fall into a hole it's going to be a late pick.
