<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MIAMI ? Right ankles apparently are becoming an Achilles' heel for Heat centers. With Shaquille O'Neal already sidelined with a severely sprained right ankle, replacement Alonzo Mourning limped through the latter stages of Saturday's 108-99 victory over Charlotte with a similar but far-less-severe problem. With his team seemingly safely ahead, coach Stan Van Gundy pulled Mourning for good with 4:03 to play in the third quarter, after Mourning tweaked the ankle in the first quarter. "He was ready to go again," Van Gundy said. "But when I took him out after that short stint in the third quarter, I told him I wasn't going to put him back in unless I absolutely had to. "Even though he was fine to go, no more pounding on it than is necessary at this point. Plus, he is putting in heavy minutes." The 35-year-old center played 17 minutes against Charlotte, which matched his shortest stint of the season. Since O'Neal went down with his injury in the season's second game, Mourning had averaged 33 minutes going into Saturday night.</div> Source
Zo is a warrior, he'll give it a go even if the ankle is sore. The Heat trainers just have to make sure the swelling doesn't get out of hand. If they can control the fluid from building up, then Zo can just tape up and continue to play on the court. The only problem I could see happening is if Zo gets in early foul trouble and has to sit on the bench. Once you stop moving around, the ankle tightens up and it's hard and painful to get it loose again.

lol Miami was trying out there..they were "pwning" us till the 4th quarter. That's when the raps started to make a run, and come back. You guys were killing us. We had no match for wade, and Zo. However near the end, you guys had poor defence, and Walker was just jacking shots (however--he made most of them). This just allowed us to storm back and take the game
