<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Jazz will be without one of their key guards tonight against the Knicks, but not the one they had feared. After a day of treatment, Deron Williams' right ankle felt fine Monday morning, and the rookie said he expects to play. Williams sprained the ankle in the final minute of Saturday night's game in Chicago. But starter Gordan Giricek will not dress tonight, and may not even be in the building. The guard reported for practice with an inflamed throat, which was diagnosed as either strep throat or tonsillitis, and he was sent home. Giricek, averaging 10.4 points per game, will be placed on the inactive list for tonight's game, along with Andrei Kirilenko and Carlos Boozer. Depending on whether the team's medical staff thinks Giricek's illness is contagious, he may also stay behind when the Jazz leave immediately after the game for Sacramento, where they play Tuesday night. </div> <div align="center">Source</div>
WTH? No Boozer, AK, or Giri? Well...da only good thing about this is that we might get to see how Devin Brown reacts to needing to take on a bigger role, Andre Owens have to step it up to. Atleast it's in the early season than half way through...damn injuries
