<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">In his relatively brief time with the 76ers, James Thomas has shown that he's all business on the court and not afraid to take a hard foul.

The 6-foot-8, 245-pound forward flexed his muscles twice recently. He committed a hard foul on Dallas center Erick Dampier midway through the third quarter of Wednesday's game. Then, on Friday, he was whistled for a "flagrant foul I" on the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant in the second quarter.
He's certainly a guy that we can use," Sixers coach Maurice Cheeks said of Thomas before last night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. "I think everyone can use a guy like that.

"When he comes into a game, everything he does, he does it in a very passionate way, like taking a foul. That's how he's been able to make it. I think our team certainly can benefit by that, by throwing him in at certain times of the game. He's changed a lot of games for us."</div>

from all the games he's played, he never really impressed me or anything, but i do love his attitude. from reading the article, i think that he is the "Mr. Nasty" of this team.

I'm not a big fan of his, but he does seem to hustle when he's out there. He has no offensive talent whatsoever, he's just out there to grab a few extra rebounds. He'll probably get garbage minutes once Dalembert and Bradley return, and from what Cheeks has said Bradley should be back by the end of the week.

I can't wait till Dalembert gets back. So Hutner can take Thomas spot and cut his minutes down. While he tries his hardest it really doesn't show.

James Thomas is what he is, a Tyrone Hill type player. He isn't going to contribute skill wise but a person who does all the other hardwork can be important to a team.

I love James Thomas' play, his toughness, and his rebounding ability but most of all when he fouls a player he makes that player remember that foul. As long as he keeps playing the way he does, and as long as Mo is still the coach, he'll be a player on this team for a long time...
