I think that kings need a superstar a guy who can do both offence and deffence like a paul pierce or someone, who can get us over this slump. a new face or a new force, Someone but just who, i am probley wrong about this, but thats how i feel about these poorplaying kings right now

I agree. I'm not a Kings fan, but ever since they traded away Webber they just haven't been the same... atleast so far this season they haven't been the same. Things were slipping before they traded Webber, but the trade seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Things started slipping when webber came back from injury. Peja was on fire, he was a superstar putting up 25 a game. the moment webber came back everything turned to crap.

webber is gone now and this is just an early season slump. don't forget that there are two new guys in the starting line up (bonzi and shareef) and bibby and peja are shooting bricks. things will get better, its still too early to write them off

This is probably going to happen, have a look at their team average scores they are at 92.7 whilst their opponents are at 101.0, they are gone

What the kings need is a superstar big man.Dont get me wrong i think Brad Miller is a good decent center but he is known for his passing ability and decent scoring ability as a center, they dont need that sort of big man (one who can pass well, and often) if they have a player like Mike Bibby on the team. They need a big man with a good defensive ability and scoring ability.
also they need to get Peja out of there fast. He may put up big numbers but he cant operate with this team and the rest of teammates cant opperate with him on the court.

There's hard to find a superstar big man these days. Its hard to find good centers period. Brad Miller is a nice fit because he's like a young Divac. Both are good passers and not known for their strength in the post. Miller is the best the kings can do. I doubt Sac would make a serious run for Big Ben. The kings need better defense. They have a high scoring offensive with bibby, peja, bonzi, and SAR but theyre lacking defense. For those reasons Adelman is on the hot seat.

The Kings simply arent athletic enough to contend. Sure theyre playing poorly now, but it would be wise to say the Kings will come around. Too much talent on the team for the Kings to not be successful. The Kings lack the athleticism to defend and protect the glass. Do the Kings need a superstar to achieve this? No. In my opinion the Kings are a perimeter defender (small forward) and a shotblocker away from being a contender.

Give some playing time to Kenny Thomas for crying out loud. The team is just wasting his talent on the bench. If not trade him and get a good defender.

I agree. Kenny is a terrific player even though he is undersized as a power forward and too slow to defend SF's. He played very well in Philadelphia until O'Brien decided to make him a jump shooter instead of utilizing his talents. He is a solid player, and I wish he wasn't included in the Webber deal, but it had to be done. He should be the primary back-up behind SAR, in my opinion. I haven't seen the Kings play much this year but from what I've heard KT isn't playing enough.
