Gasol collected 20 points, 10 rebounds and four blocked shots as the Memphis Grizzlies posted an 85-73 victory over the Lakers.

    NBA TV highlights from
    Grizzlies-Lakers: Play
Los Angeles shot a season-low 33 percent (25-of-77) and scored just 47 points through three quarters as it closed out a four-game road trip with three straight losses - scoring 81 points or less in each defeat.

A 14-4 run helped the Grizzlies open a 38-29 lead with 3:39 left in the half. Eddie Jones, who finished with 16 points, had four points and a steal during the spurt.

However, it was in the third quarter that Memphis took control. The Grizzlies outscored the Lakers, 31-14, thanks in large part to a 17-5 advantage in rebounds - 11 of them on the offensive end.

After being limited to a season-low 17 points in Philadelphia on Friday, Bryant scored just 18 points on 7-of-18 shooting. With Memphis leading, 73-47, at the end of the third period, Bryant sat on the bench the rest of the way. </div>

Well I could write an essay to explain everything wrong. The only positive tonight was the play of Andrew Bynum. He was the only Laker who gave Gasol any problems on defense, including a rejection, sending Gasol to the hardwood.

The Lakers defense overall was decent, holding the Grizzlies to only 37.8% from the field. Which is also disheartening, because despite holding the Grizzlies to 30% shooting all night, the Grizzlies still won by points, and led by as much as 26 points in the game.

The Lakers offense is atrocious, Kwame missed point blank layups, Devean George dribbled the ball off his foot and never saw another minute in the game, Kobe was smoothered all night once again, Lamar Odom refused to take it inside and had ZERO FTAs. Mihm was fairly aggressive tonight getting a double double, but he was giving it right back on defense.

Another frustrating night watching the Lakers. A 1-3 road trip is unexceptable, the team better not lose to the Knicks.
