<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>Maybe now the cowboys will have some offense</div> I doubt it!
Price will be the third receiver. Johnson and Glenn will be 1 and 2 as long as they are healthy, but yes, you will see a lot of three-receiver sets with Witten as the 4th option. This was a good move. Watch out for Crayton. He's a good #4 too.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>Maybe now the cowboys will have some offense</div> If your hoping Peerless Price will give you some offense, you know your team's bad...
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Five_Superbowl_ Rings)</div><div class='quotemain'>Porky, the Packers aren't going to the Playoffs this year. The Cowboys are! We cut Quincy Morgan.</div> hmmmmm Personally I am beginning to think neither will. Cowboys have to many questions on offense and have a young raw defense. If anyone else was the coach of this team not name Bill they would probably be picked to go last in the divsion. Green Bay offensive line and defense isn't coming together as expected but special teams coverage might be the worse in years. I am not expecting big things out of the Pack this year. Just a 8-8 or 9-7 record.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (N_Burleson4life)</div><div class='quotemain'>What about Quincy Morgan. He can play some ball, too.</div> Quincy has a big hands problem. He was a mistake to acquire in the first place, although I understand why the decision was made. I don't agree with it though. Price struggled as a #1 receiver, but he thrived as a #2 when teamed up with Bledsoe a few years ago.

That offense is way passed it's prime with the exception of 2 players. They might contend but I don't think they'll get in.

He's still a lot younger than many of the top WRs in the game. Dont get me wrong, I don't expect Price to leading the team to the promised land, but I think he will be one of the better #3s around. You're just quoting what you have heard Porky. Half of the offense is too young to have even hit their prime. Yes, Keyshawn is over it. Allen and Rivera are too, but they are still very good guards. Glenn is over it, but he had a pretty good season last year before she got hurt. Bledsoe is over his prime, but the biggest question is how serviceable he is. The remaining six are younger.
You just made my point on why they won't make the playoffs. Drew Bledsoe Larry Allen Keyshawn Johnson Terry Glenn Marco Rivera(unless his back problems get better) Peerless Price(needs a good WR ahead of him to be any good) I don't see much talent there to win 10 games and go deep in the playoffs. I see 8 wins at the most. The defense is a wild card. Anthony Henry and Terrance Newman need to step up. Especially Newman. Demarcus Ware is overrated. Why?? He went from a late 1st to a early 1st with good "times" at the combine. Yes he's played good in preseason. That don't mean he's the next LT like I've heard. That is just wrong. In my mind Marcus Spears is the top rookie on that team if he stays healthy. He is overshadowed by Ware. Ware will be good but not a Pro Bowler as a rookie. Dallas is the 2nd most overhyped team this year. I don't think Bledsoe can be a good QB with the surroundings he has and a average offensive line. 6-8 wins is what I got them at this year.
Peerless Price i think was hurt by Vicks inabilty to be constitent in the passing game. He is gonna be one of the better #3 WRs
Even so Price signs and now Cowboy fans should pack their bags for Detroit in Feb. Not that type of signing.

Price is our #3 receiver. Are you implying that defenses are going to treat him like our # 1 receiver? If not, then he can make a difference. I'm missing your point or your missing mine...or both. Dallas will not make the superbowl with or without Price. He is only another option that will be single-covered because he is not a #1 receiver. He seemed to handle that better than he did the #1 position. I'm not sure I ever mentioned Detroit before or after the Price signing. 2. Rivera's back is fine. Are you saying that if Larry Allen was suddenly available that you wouldn't want him on your team? 3. Ware is not the next LT. Ware will be good in certain situations, but will struggle in others if forced to do so. Spears and Ware will both have an impact and make this defense better than it was last year, but neither will be in the Pro Bowl this year. What both will do is make the secondary look a little better. 4. I see 9-7 as the over/under. 8-8 is possible, or 10-6 if everything falls their way. I struggle to see how the increase of talent would leave them anywhere near 6 wins. I can't think of any position that has decreased in talent.

If Larry Allen was out there. I wouldn't want him. 1. Would want to much money 2. Both my teams offensive lines are fine. 3. Getting old. Rivera has back problems. He did in near the end. He probably will in Dallas as the season goes on. Other teams are getting better to. Giants and Redskins are all better where as most fans(don't mean just you) think those games will be intant wind. 4 wins right there. hmmmmmmm Not quite! As for increase in talent. Rookies on defense. Will be Rookies. Meaning mistakes will happen. Nick Barnett was a solid rookie for us but when push came to shove in the big moment he messed up. So I am saying don't expect a Pro Bowl year out of a rookie. Thats to much to ask for and some fans are expecting that. Again maybe not you! As for Price he isn't the impact signing that will get you guys over the hump. Thats gonna have to be Bledsoe!!! Whos riding the pine???? That was the first question ask and if Dallas wants to make the playoffs. The answer is not Price,Glenn, or Johnson. It's Jason Witten or Julius Jones!!
