    GMan's Predictions
Bucks play game 2 of the West trip...back to back 9:30 games, I hate these. The Bucks going back to the last game of 2003-04 season are 0-17 on the road out on the West coast. Bucks probably won't be too tired, they didn't put much of an effort forth last night. It will come down to their ability to defend the 3 ball, which they couldn't do in the first meeting

    Warriors 107
    Bucks 99

A rested Warrior team should be able to tire down the Bucks and win this game. Playing back-to-back night games on the road is brutal as Gmanspack noted.

Normally it's hard to win two straight against an opponent, and the Bucks are more familiar with the Warriors now. Golden State relies heavily on the 3ball to score points. They can't leave the shooters open, especially Murphy, who killed them last time from the outside. Make him put the ball on the floor, he's terrible at finishing on the inside.

Well, there are two factors that make me cringe when I think of this matchup. 1-we just got destroyed by the Clips and looked lazy and disinterested and 2-we got destroyed from 3 by the Warriors last time we played them, and now we go to their house.

The Bucks simply aren't playing any defense. I am really not looking forward to that being a theme all year long [IMG]

oh wow, a bucks fan saying that warriors will win?? wow thats cool. I think it will be a pretty close game, but I think Warriors will win 98-91 unless warriors' offense gets better.

This game scares me. I am going to predict an "upset". Bucks by 4...

Damn, I was off by a point. I was going to say 3 too....

I also think the Bucks will pull it out, Bucks by 8.
BTW Warriorsfan, which part of Dallas are you from? I from Oak Cliff.

Halftime Score: Bucks 48 Warriors 45

We've played a smidge better on defense so far tonight, and at least it appears that we are trying to get a hand in their face when they shoot 3s, but they're also getting some easy transition baskets off of us. The refs have been absolutely terrible. They've called ticky tack fouls on both teams, and then they've missed some really obvious ones (on one in particular, TJ drove to the hoop only to get mugged by Murphy AND Foyle, yet there was no call).

Back on topic, we still need to play better defense, they've gotten some easy baskets...again...and we can't let that continue to happen. Magloire has been solid with 10 boards at the half, but Bogut is 0/3 from the field with no points.

    Leaders at the half:
    Simmons 15/2/0
    Redd 11/1/1
    TJ 8/0/3
    Magloire 3/10/0

Nice job on the boards Jamaal, keep it up. I hope he keeps on playing like this. But I think that Bogut should start over Joe Smith.

Just like we talked about Schaddy, Warriors were as cold as ice from the outside, 9-29 from three point land. Also the Warrior backcourt was only 12/38, the Warriors won't be winning much with JRich and BDiddy shooting like that.

Bogut is great at rebounding his own misses.

The Bucks are really really stupid for benching Bogut. Maybe im just being biast towards Bogut, but this could really crap all over his potentiall. If those bloody Bucks turned him into another Kwame Brown... ohh man this really pisses me off. Stupids ass Stotts has **** for brains, even if they did win, BDiddy stank like an old fish, 4-21,. ughh god thats sad, and Bogut, in your face Stotts, Nine points and Eleven rebounds in just under 16 minutes, there's a bloody good reason to start him.

<font color=""Red"">Chill, man. You don't have to come in here talking all that stuff.</font>.

Very solid road win for us, I'm glad that we pulled at least one out on our West Coast swing, and this is the first time that the Bucks have won out West in 18 tries.

Our defense was slightly improved, but the Warriors also had an off shooting night. Guess that makes up for them shooting 51% from 3 when they came to Milwaukee. [IMG] Magloire looked real good for stretches, as did Bogut. Solid, solid road win for us, and we should use this as a springboard for our defensive confidence.

The Warriors broadcasters were mentioning that Bogut's numbers have slowly been dwindling since his hot start. In addition, Magloire and Bogut aren't the fastest of players when it comes to the transition game and having both of them in there can really slow things down for the Bucks. It looks like benching Bogut, which IMO does not hurt his potential at all, did him good as he really killed the W's in the third quarter.

Anyway, why do you care if you're a Lakers fan?

Well, as a Warriors fan, I was a bit dismayed by this complete meltdown in the third quarter. Again, Dunleavy had a piss-poor performance...I wouldn't even call it a performance, maybe a skit...[IMG]

Baron had a horrible shooting night but those things happen. Overall, I was entertained since the W's made a run at it. Good game and good luck the rest of the way, Bucks fans.[IMG]

    GMan's Thoughts
Bucks finally snapped their 17 game road losing streak against the West. They came out and dominated the 3rd quarter, but the Warriors did the same for the 4th...both teams winning each quarter 27-15, so the Bucks 3 pt halftime lead stood up for a Bucks W. Michael Redd had 27 pts, TJ Ford 9 and 13 assists. Bobby Simmons with a big game 20 and 11. Bogut had a big second half, scoring all his 9 pts, and grabbing 6 of his 11 boards. Magloire and Smith also put up solid games. One weird note, 17 PPG Mo Williams struggled and did not score.

    MVP: Bobby Simmons
    NEW RECORDS
    Bucks 5-2
    Warriors: 5-4

    Next Games

    Warriors @ Portland Friday

We out-rebounded them by 16 last night, as opposed to 2 in the first matchup.

By the way, anyone else know who the top rebounding team in the NBA is thus far? [IMG]

Oh, and who's the top 3 point shooting % team in the league? [IMG]

Here's a clue on the second one...the Milwaukee Bucks are currently shooting 2% better from behind the line than they are inside of it. [IMG]
