Arenas, who scored an NBA season-high 43 points on 15-of-20 shooting in a 110-95 triumph over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, connected on 54.4 percent of his shots and averaged 7.7 assists en route to leading the Wizards to a 2-1 record last week. Denver Nuggets center Marcus Camby was named the Western Conference Player of the Week after averaging 16.7 rebounds and 5.0 blocks - both league highs - and 19.3 points. </div> Source
Areana`s is continuing to tear up the league, and Camby is stepping up and really taking control of Denver. Good to see for both teams.
I don't think it'd be a stretch to say that Camby could make the ASG this season. Arenas is playing out of his mind, picked up right where he left off. Not bad for someone who was supposed to get zero minutes in the NBA.
It was zero minutes in college, but coming into the league, people felt he had no position, well he's just a player, let him play that's all that was needed. He's showing to be a better PG than people expected though, but the best situation for him would still be playing next to a big pure PG like Livingston, and being the SG on offense. His scoring is just too good and efficient to have him play more of a traditional PG role.
