I thought with the improvement of Krstic that there would be significant improvement in the Nets results. It's only early though, plenty of time for them to turn it around.

I mean yes his #'s on paper may slighty be better..but that has more to do with the fact we dont have the frontcourt guys at the start of the season that we had last year with Mourning, Eric Williams, Scali etc..so Krstic play more minutes. But his play right now resembles pretty much his play during the 2nd half of last year after the Carter trade and we gave up all those front court guys. But as far as basketball skill level goes..I honestly dont see that great of an improvement or difference. The strong points in his game last year were his ablity to make the 15 footer..and to give you a few baskets down low but not enough to make teams shift their defenses. And its pretty much the same thing this year. And as far as weakness are concerned they are the same as last year as well....cant defend on the ball and doesnt know how to stay on the court and out of foul trouble. I mean the kid is still improving and has alot to grow on.but I dont think looking at him right now that I can say that he has improved to the level where you will see a dramatic change in the win/loss column because of his game. The change in the win/loss column will come only if Kidd stays healthy and Jefferson & Carter continue to produce on a high level..those are the only real difference makers..everyone else are roll players whether it be Krstic playing the role of a 4 option frontcourt scorer or Collins playing the role as the teams best bigman defender.
