<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ilive4ball:</div><div class="quote_post">Like someone else mentioned- EVERY team in the League will be calling the wolves if KG is legitamely available. That trade is even worse then the Heat/Laker trade, involving Shaq- at least the Lakers got a potential all star and triple-double threat Lamar Odom....who would Minny be getting?

I can think of a million other trades more likely to go down then this

    Peirce for KG
    Odom for KG
    Randolph and Patterson for KG
    Dirk for KG

Even Duncan for KG would have a high chance of going through then would.</div>
The Spurs GM would be shot if he every traded Tim Duncan for anyone let alone KG. I think the best way to go is

    Odom
    Brown
    Mckie
    1st or 2nd round draft pick(s)

    for
    KG
    Madsen
If they won't throw in Madsen fine, but why I say Madsen because he will fill that empty forward spot and because he is familiar with Phil Jacksons coaching. He's 3 years experianced under Phil's coaching.

Shapecity well said. It was like a twist at the end of a movie, I just finished reading all the articles and arguing about the Philly trade and finally a reasonable trade for both sides comes out of it, but instead it is NY and Minny, I hope that trade does go down. Another all-star to the east..wow..Bulls get another big time rival..yuck..I do like the Knicks though and it would make everything a bit more intersting, I doubt they would win the east this year, but they would definetly be contenders for awhile and would have a great shot somewhere down the line..

I would LOVE it if KG went to the Sixers, the Sixers are my fav team after the Bulls, AI, C-Webb (my fave player of all-time) and KG all getting a ring, I mean honestly, they just have to sign up a couple of FA's to fill their gaps and they are on their way to a Title, no one really could stop them, but the wolves could get something better than Korver, Dalembert..the sixers should NO WAY trade Iggy, watching him play you know he's going to be big. I like Korver and Dalembert, but to get KG for them is just an offer you can't refuse.

Maurice Cheeks is the coolest coach, period.

I'm with the rest of you who say we'll have to throw in Iggy in order for this trade to materialize.

If this trade somehow goes down, then I think Billy King needs to turn around and trade Webber.

I'll quiet this rumor with this...

Samuel Dalembert is locked up til 2010/2011 season with a bad contract. Why on earth would Minnesota trade KG for a long ass contract like that. An expiring deal is probably what they are looking for.

The trade talks about Kg are basically over. The owner wants to keep KG, so I don't think he will even discuss anymore.

Not to mention that if the Sixers traded for KG, Webber wouldn't be in Philly anymore.

    C - Steven Hunter

AI and KG wont fight, Theyll compliment eachother. Both will give up what is needed to get along. Cause both have one passion. That ring. You can see how much they want it. Thats why they keep putting up huge numbers. To Raise theyre team to playoffs and hope they can get through and luck will get them one. But these two together are gona kill. KG and AI running the pick and roll with webber still filling up the sheet and AI2 being the young blood of the team finishing with KG. Thats a team!

For the record if could put any two superstars together AI and KG would be the best duo. Like mentioned they have sooooooooo much passion for the game and will do whatever it takes. They show emotion like no another and they would just simply be a perfect duo. Iverson is not good at meshing with perimeter guys so a big man like KG would be perfect.

I agree with Avery. If AI and CWebb can do what they are doing, AI and KG would be as good, if not better, than Shaq and Kobe, in my opinion (of course their age plays a factor).

AI and KG are the most passionate players in the game today...

    AI-KG / Kobe-Shaq
If the sixers somehow pulled it off and got KG they would be an automatic NBA Champion Contender in my opinion. Better then Shaq n Kobe where? Maybe or maybe not it would depend how well they could play together and use one another for their teams benefit.

Dude, why is this thread even still going.

This rumor was made up ages ago. It's a dead one by now.

    That would be crazy!

    AI, Iggy, KG, C-Webb, Hunter?

That would be a pretty sweet 5!
