<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There's no reason for impatient fans to be skeptical about Carlos Boozer's hamstring injury, the Jazz insisted today. Unfortunately, that's because his condition has gotten much worse. The "setback" in his recovery that Boozer experienced Monday was actually a serious aggravation of his original injury, the team's orthopedic surgeon said. Boozer will need another month at a minimum to recover. "Miserable," said Kevin O'Connor, the Jazz's basketball boss. "It's disappointing. . . . All the work he did in June, July and August to get ready is now dissipated." <div align="center">...</div> Don't expect to see Boozer, who will earn $11.6 million this season, back before Christmas, at least. "Soft-tissue healing usually takes about four to six weeks," Mason said, "but then you have to take into consideration rehab, conditioning, game readiness, all those things." Mason also estimated that Andrei Kirilenko, who sprained his right ankle in Chicago last Saturday, will be out two to four weeks, not the week to 10 days the forward had predicted. But starting guards Keith McLeod and Gordan Giricek, who missed the past two games, are expected to be ready to play.</div> <div align="center">Source</div>
wow. this guy has been nothing but a disappointment for the jazz. he has really not done anything to justify the amount of money he's getting paid. hopefully he returns at christmas and gets his career back on track.
With both of them out, Utah are getting hammered by teams all over the league. They need both Boozer and Andrei back as soon as possible. It is best if Boozers goes back to the way he played when he just joined Utah. He was sick then. For the moment guess coach sloan has to really on Deron Williams and vet's like Hapring to prevent them from bringing up the rear.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Andrei Kirilenko never stops being optimistic. So the Jazz are going to have to be a little pessimistic for him in the next week or two. The Russian forward, who estimated he would need a week to 10 days to recover from his right-ankle sprain last Saturday in Chicago, will be out two to four weeks, the team's orthopedic surgeon said Thursday. "He's somebody we have to hold back a little bit," so he doesn't reinjure his ankle, Dr. Lyle Mason said. "Realistically, for him to be able to run and jump and turn, we're talking about two to four weeks." On the other hand, the Jazz's starting guards are likely to return tonight against Phoenix (7 p.m. MST, KJZZ) after missing the past two games. Keith McLeod's back spasms, caused by a blow from Bull center Tyson Chandler's knee while scrambling for a loose ball Saturday, have subsided. "It's a lot better than yesterday," McLeod said. "I think I'm back." Same for Gordan Giricek, whose tonsillitis was treated with medication and has subsided. No further treatment should be necessary unless the condition becomes chronic, Mason said. Forward Matt Harpring, who is following his doctor's advice not to play back-to-back games on his still-healing right knee, will play against the Suns, then likely sit out Saturday's game against Memphis. </div> Source Kirilenko now could be out a month, ouch.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kirilenko now could be out a month, ouch</div> I kinda see Andrei as Utah's main man. So yea. I really hope to see him back soon. He's my favourite Defensive Player and I'm rooting for him to get the DPOY award averaging like 5 blocks and 1.5 steals. Alittle far away but hey this guy is good. Oh ya, good luck to Utah and their fans. They'll need it with Kirilenko out.
