It doesn't matter if they are playing well. Both of them get like 0 hype even if they play well. Howard has a bigger of getting in. We all know Brand won't get in because there won't be no room. Duncan, Garnett, Dirk, and some else will take his spot. Dwight has a bigger chance of getting in than Brand but he probably won't get in either. Expect to see almost the exact same faces in the West and the East as last year.

The bench isn't voted by fans, it's voted by the coaches, therefore you don't need hype to get in, and if the Clippers continue to win, Brand will get in.

Apparently you can't "guess what the West starting lineup will be like" because TMac is listed as a forward this year.

Didn't he play point guard in the All Star game last year?

I was really surprised to find out Nenad Krstic was in the ballot for the All-Star team. So that's 4 Nets that could POSSIBLY be there, but I think only 3 of them will make it, the obvious VC, RJ, and Kidd. I hope Kidd makes it or else I will be very disappointed, especially if he doesn't start. I was worried that his All-Star days were coming to a demise since he didn't make it last year. But I really doubt Kidd will start..

Heres our my projected lineups look:

    EAST:
    PG - Allen Iverson
SG - Vince Carter/Dwayne Wade (will be difficult and down to the wire.)
SF - LeBron James (I'm still very scared on how good this kid is.)
    PF - Jermaine O'Neal
    C - Shaq O'Neal

    WEST:
    PG - Steve Nash
    SG - Kobe Bryant
SF - Tracy McGrady/Kevin Garnett (will also be really close.)
    PF - Tim Duncan
    C - Yao Ming

I can't see Vince beaing Wade. First off Vince doesn't have nearly as many automatic votes from biased fans seeing as the Nets fanbase is much smaller than the Heats. Second of all (and most importantly) Wade is just having a much better year.

seriously... i missed steve francis.. i watch the all-star game for fun... last year it wasn't fun as two years ago... the best play last year was probaly vince alley oop to himself... one of my favorite all tiem play was when yao ( center) throws an ally oop to steve francis.... thats just makes me laugh thinking about yao passing an ally oop...

My bad, i forgot about that. they should change that. Who wouldn't give Camby and Okur the nod over the struggling Yao?

The NBA just wants the real stars playing, not underrated talent in players such as Camby and Okur.

What the hell are you talking about? Honestly, Vince has probably gotten the most biased votes in NBA history.
