<div class="quote_poster">Quoting JWohl:</div><div class="quote_post">I can't see Vince beaing Wade. First off Vince doesn't have nearly as many automatic votes from biased fans seeing as the Nets fanbase is much smaller than the Heats. Second of all (and most importantly) Wade is just having a much better year.</div> Vince also has negative fanbase (all of us canadians hate him)

There is no way that Camby, however well he does, will beat out Ming because he gets so many Chinese voters. Amare Stoudamire? Dwight Howard?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting superman32:</div><div class="quote_post">Vince also has negative fanbase (all of us canadians hate him)</div> I hated him well before he left. I'm canadian. A lot of Americans still like him, and even more so now that he is playing in the states.

Yao has created a huge chinese NBA fanbase.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting phunDamentalz:</div><div class="quote_post">Yao is NOT a lock for center in the west. Camby's numbers and Okur's numbers are sick. They would vote for him even if Yao scores 5 points a game or doesn't even play at all due injury.
i dont like the voting cause its all popularity and not skill if it was than paul pierce would be an <u>obvious </u>starter for the east this year looking at the insane numbers hes put up, and tmac wouldnt be starting for the west. Looking at stats and how the players play these 2 would be obvious ESPECIALLY PIERCE but knowing the voting and how BS it is none of these things will happen
Rafy: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">What the hell are you talking about? Honestly, Vince has probably gotten the most biased votes in NBA history</div> If they're biased for voting for one of the most exciting players of all time, then I don't even know how to describe the votes that Yao or Hill gets, because that must be extremely bias. I mean whatever, it's the all-star game, people want to see exciting plays and huge dunks, not a 60-point game. Some of you may rather see the best all-round guys playing, but believe me, you're definitely in the minority. One thing I do not want to see is the same West starting line-up as last year with KG at SF. It's too slow and boring. Here's my projected line-up: West pg-Nash sg-Kobe sf-Tmac pf-KG C-Yao (I'd rather see Camby though) East pg-AI sg-VC sf-Lebron pf-JO C-Shaq (or Ben if Shaq is still injured)
borrrrinngggg damn, everybody has essentially the same picks. fucc a popularity contest, i dont think the all-stars should be chosen by fans...only people who should vote, are people on the NBA payroll.

nba.com just wrote a segment on eastern forwards and like i said the popularity contestpartof allthissux because right now pierceis ABSOLUTELY killing it and so is Bosh while neither of them will prolly start bosh might not even make the team heres the article http://www.nba.com/features/asballot06_east_forwards.html
i'm sorry but i voted for west g-nash g-ginobli/bryant(i always change that every time i vote) f-mcgrady f-garnett c-yao...of course... if he can beat shaq then he can beat any center in the west .. east g-ai g-vince...when it comes to all-star game itself he delivers...remember its called the ALL-STAR game..not the underrated nonnexciting players game f-lebron f-jermaine c-shaq... obviously only cuz he's in the east.... as a rockets fan and cuz i am goin to the game i would love if two houston superstars started for the hometown... and i can almost guarantee you that those two are gonna make it. and i personally have no problem with those two starting teams... i really am sorry for the nba fans who complain over "fairness" and this and that i see where you guys are coming from...but the nba is a business they want buts in seats and the players i voted for will do exactly that... would the average fan honestly wanna see okur starting?... the simple and clear answer is no... that is all
