Nav the "superfan" tried to urge raptors to get magloire Source: http://www.metronews.ca/column_york_report...12289&cid=10223 <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He then privately accused the Raptors of failing to step forth with realistic and/or fair trade offers. Yes, the Raptors talked to the Hornets about him. But, no, they mysteriously refused to relinquish the player the Hornets wanted most, Morris Peterson. Instead, the Bucks offered Desmond Mason, probably a better all-round player than Peterson, and the deal was done. </div> <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I had a good meeting not long ago with the people who run the Teachers Pension Fund (which owns a large chunk of the Raptors)," Bhatia said. "I urged them to get rid of (club president) Richard Peddie. He doesn't have the necessary knowledge and he hires incompetent people. They make mistake after mistake, and I don't even think they care. The failure to obtain Jamaal was only one of many missed opportunities. We deserve better."</div> Richard peddie has to go
This is going far. It always is when a fan starts being a connector between players and managemnt and such, regardless of what relationship he has with either. The dude is only a season ticket holder, he's not even one of the sponsors, so I find it ridiculous that Marty York or whomever else uses him as a credible source. I don't a fan running my team!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Johnnybrasco:</div><div class="quote_post">hey this super fan, is he the guy in the turban that is shown at the games so often?</div> ya that's him. He's the guy who used to throw the towel in the air when the visiting team would take free throws.
I don't htink its htat bad, I mean he has a high profile and is know n as the sperfan, the leas tthe MLSE could do is treat him a bit better(which they did), however I think they should take his opinion very lightly. BUT,although his opinion and the writer is probably trying to create crap, I don't see how htis is relevant other than to stir the waters and create ****. Im waiting to see how many fire peddie people come in here.
This guy could be pulling things out of his ass, and I don't really trust Marty York. The guy's an idiot when it comes to writing.
I could care less about this guy. Sure, he's known as the "super fan," but there are tons of die-hard Raps fans and obviously this dude has an ego too big for his turban. Why would he be in a meeting with people with the franchise? Man, I live for Raptors basketball, but you don't see me kissing Sam Mitchell good luck before a game or wiping the **** stains after Bosh drops in a career high on a freaking toilet. Come on! If I wanted a fan running the show, I would've been wiping **** stains a long time ago...

^ doesnt know what he's talking about... BUt i think that superfan's gotta point. It's not like the other teams dont want to give away magloire...all they wanted was one player and peddie and co. didnt want to give it to them... remember keep vince fire peddie campaign? that would work right now...
^LoL, wtf? This article is ridiculous. I've met Nav Bhatia before at my temple, and the dude isn't even as knowledgable as some JBB posters. The only reason he has anyone listens to him is because he's always had season tickets at the front, and he has his hilarious Punjabi accent.
