The guy has been so bad that I almost burst into tears when he makes a shot.[IMG]

Dunleavy is playing well down the stretch, unfortunately we're not making many stops.

It's a good thing he was shooting over Telfair most of the time or he wouldn't hit anything.

Hey man, Brent Barry can dunk (he won the slam dunk contest). Mike Miller can dunk it pretty well. Then there's David Lee and Chris Andersen. Those guys are all born here and they can throw it down. It's too bad all the perimeter guy dunkers are way soft. Damn, see this is where stereotypes develop. Not cool!

Oh and Brian Cardinal can throw down a good dunk every once in a while. [IMG]

Even Murphy dunked again. Dunleavy would have done a lay up ;-)

Dunleavy had his best 4th quarter of the season. I'm friggin' ballin' here.

Nah he would have shot a wide open 3 and missed. Luckily Dun bounced back and started performing. Man, if he plays well the W's can't lose.

Blazers shot pretty darn well from the line. Better than expected.

Did we lead throughout the whole game? I don't think we were ever losing or tied.

Road wins are nice. Next is the division leader, the Clippers.

    +1

Dunleavy has to be our third option. His numbers have to improve...they will improve, but how much? I'd like to see a 15 ppg average by the end of the season.

We dominated 1st quarter, and we basically hung onto 10 pts lead throughout all game. I thought either side will make a run sooner or later, but it never came.

Davis: Again, his stat doesn't show what he did in the game. Doesn't look to be too bothered by hamstring either. "Only" shot 3 pts 5 times as well.

Richardson: Mr. consistancy. His dribbling looks better as well. Grant that he can't totally shake his man, but he does nice things while he dribbles. If he can master the dribble, he will be a superstar.

Dunleavy: So nice to see him making 3 straight baskets. He really needed it, and hopefully he will come out from the slump.

    Murphy: Another Mr. consistancy. 13/10.

Foyle: He really battled against Miles, Randolph and Ratliff, and did pretty well, grabbing 11 rebounds and two blocks.

Both Fisher and Pietrus were nice additions from the bench...

The way Murphy is playing right now, I dont' see why Dunleavy should be our 3rd option. Not only Murphy can create shots much easier, it's not like Dunleavy is agreesive enough to be a 3rd option.

Currently, we are playing 4 vs 5 (3 vs 5 with Foyle) in offense end, and if Dunleavy plays halfway decent, it will be a huge relief for us. Let's just hope he can add something for this club in front of his dad...

Clippers don't really use their bench much, huh? Damn Clippers always looked good on paper but this time it's for real.

BTW Kwame Brown is such a puss!

To all you guys making references of MDJ as Jim Barnett's son or something, you guys only wished MDJ could play like Barnett. Didn't you guys hear on the telecast that he hit 16 of 16 from the FT line.

I consider Taft to be better than Kwame... or at least has way more upside in his future.

Kind of sad for the Lakers.

He's not Jim Barnett's son because of that. Jeez, haven't you been watching the telecasts? Besides Mike Dunleavy Sr. was a damn good player in the NBA and Jr. IS really his kid.

Then of course, there's the Barry brothers who never were as good as their old man. Jon Barry and Brent Barry don't equal Rick Barry.

Awww, poor Lakers[IMG] Taft is not a dominant player, but put his short career next to Kwame and he looks damn good. Generally he compares well to chris Wilcox now,and when he's played more, figures to further improve. It's a bit early to predict anything He hasn't had to deliver a sustained effort yet, though,in a way it's especially handy that he does well in short segments.
A lot of young big men never get anywhere until they have a few games with a lot of minutes. looks like Diop is such a guy. A player who does perform in these short 5 min segments can build some skills, and soon earn more action.

Perhaps, but I think that Dunleavy should/will end up with a higher scoring average than Murphy. I don't know if that translates into "third option" but the guy takes a lot of shots that should go in but aren't at the moment.

Not to take anything away from Murphy, but I'd rather have him rebound than score. His scoring ability is a bonus and the W's are obviously capitalizing off of it.
