<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">TORONTO (CP) - Raptors coach Sam Mitchell is hoping for help from someone who knows about winning.

The Raptors are considering hiring former Purdue men's basketball coach Gene Keady, one of the most respected coaches in college basketball history and a six-time NCAA coach of the year, as a consultant for their struggling team.

Keady helped out at the Raptors practice Saturday and will travel with the team on next week's four-game western road trip.

"I wanted another coach," said Mitchell. "Right now, he's just here observing. If I'm comfortable and he's comfortable being here, we'd like him to stay.

"(He's) another experienced pair of eyes. This guy's a career coach. He can help all of us, not only the players but the coaches. He can help all of us become better."</div>
