the big difference that i noticed...we knocked down shots in the 4th Q when we needed them made....jalen in particular. that 3 he hit late in the game, was a shot he's been missing all year long. jalen contributing is in my opinion how we were able to get the win. bosh and james have really been the only consistant players on the floor for us.

calderon and charlie V both with solid games. charlie didnt score a lot, but he really hit the boards well, and jose doing a REALLY solid job finding open guys. big up to both of them, what a couple of good young players we have in them

we got a tough road trip ahead of us, so we cant get over excited about this win, but take the positives from it, and move on with confidence.

Wow! I can't believe this, this is amazing. At least we aren't going to break the 0-17 losing record.

This is a great moment, and we should all savour this until next win haha.

Good game. We knew we couldn't stop Wade so we stopped their role players. We killed them with offensive rebounds. Is it just me, or when we go small with Jose, James, Graham, CV and Bosh, we always seem to play better. I'd like to see that line-up start by the end of the season. Mo-pete has been playing worthless. Hoffa was the X-factor. He was the only guy who could guard Zo.

The fact that we got the win really didn't matter that much to me. I was just happy to see us play our best ball of the season for almost 48 minutes (stretch in the 1st was bad). The best part of watching that game was seeing our young guys in Bosh, Hoffa, Jose, Graham and CV all contribute to pull that one out. I'll take the win though lol.

Great game and great win for the Raps. It's a good confidence builder going on four-game road trip including the surprise team Clippers.

WOW, it's been a long time since I've heard Chuck say 'RAPTORS WIN, RAPTORS WIN'

Everyone played a great game. Without certain effort, Chris, Jalen, James, CV-Smooth & HOFFA of all people, we wouldn't have gotten this game.

At one point, when it was CB4 & CV-Smooth on the floor, I was actually calling for Hoffa to get back on to stop Zo. GOD, THIS IS GREAT!

Sweet.... now we can go back to just being a "bad" team instead of being a "super crappy team that's on the verge of having the worst start in nba history".

I cant believe I was actually cheering for Hoffa, I just saw the game on Raptors Game In an Hour on NBA TV, and we executed real well late in the game, and damn Hoffa is actually much better than I thought but only if he stay's out of foul trouble. I think Hoffa needs a coach that doesnt scream his name everytime he hits the floor for the whole time he's on. Mitchell's a great coach but he's gotta ease down on Hoffa, the guy is in the same situation as some of the other players who were/are labelled as busts, look at Kwame Brown in Washington and look at him now in LA before his hamstring injury, and look at Johnny Salmons this year with Mo Cheeks.

I agree a 100% - Sam is a great coach, but he really does need to just let Hoff play, even if he gets fouled out in 6 minutes - it shows that he is really giving it his all.

With a bit more experience, and a bit more slack, he can become a solid contributer to this team - I believe.

    tell me smth
what would bringing silas do for the raps?
    have you seen our roster?
no matter what coach we have we are not capable of winning this season
we have a LOT of young guys and it'll take times
firing Sam will do nth for us
it'll take even longer for the players to adapt to a new coach and a new coaching style..and i've never liked silas

    Give sam some time

He's had a year already, how much more time do you need?
Do you want another season of watching stagnant offensive sets?

    lol yes a year
    but is it his fault?
he's been thrown with useless players
first of all the VC issue--how he demanded a trade
than you got a bust rookie--Hoffa
and than your franchaise player leaves and you get three useless players
than you start getting chemistry problems (Lammond murray..skip)

    it's not really his fault
    and we are rebuilding
rebuilding doesnt mean you become a playoff team in a year..it takes time
and so far im liking the raps much better than last year despite the record
i think we'll be able to come back..just look at the bulls last year..i dont think we'll make it to the playoffs..but we wont have the worst record in the league

as for whose fault it is---i would blame babcock..not mitchell
