what is he good at besides making that bull signal to his forehead? the guy has been completely useless all season, Brown needs to bench him and start Crawfod He had three points the whole night, and did nothing on the boards nor defensively This guy has Paul Pierce potential, but the IQ of an Isiah Thomas, we're screwed
Q has been a disapointment but he barely gets minutes. He's in the 1st quarter and then we dont see him for a while until the end of the game. He's only averaging 23 mpg while in PHX he averaged 35. He hasnt found a role in this offense.
Steve Nash helped raise his stock. The Suns knew what he was about and knew they could afford losing him in a trade. Richardson is'nt the best at creating his own shot and with no real distributor his game is suffering.
Richardson is a good player but he just hasnt found a role that he fits into, like Clyde said about Marbury theres no reason to complain this early in the season they should wait until there 20 games in before making an assessment on what they do and dont need to change. Once Q finds his niche in Brown's structural offense he'll be putting up numbers like he did when he was on the Clippers and possibly as good as when he was on the suns if the team meshes.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MAKEOUTCITY:</div><div class="quote_post">He's rich, got married and getting fat.</div> He broke up with Brandy.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MrJ:</div><div class="quote_post">He broke up with Brandy.</div> what the??? already broke up??? i mean brandy is a ho every1 knows that, she had a baby with another guy and she had a show on mtv about their life and stuff...that was like 2 years ago and last year seeing her with Q i'm like wtf happend to the other guy she had a kid with? i felt bad for him.. and q rich is injured right now when he comes back from injury he would probably do more for the knicks
maybe cause he's averaging 12 minutes less than he did last year? And that like pretty much everyone else on the team is struggling adjusting to a new system? Now I'm gonna say this and it might leave open for ridicule but I've noticed how much Q's defense has improved... maybe not individual but team wise.. he's picked up a whole bunch of charges this season which is great considering he's not known for his D. Like Frye, Nate... and now Q... it's gonna take patience... but I'm starting to think it won't happen around here.
I think we all knew what Q could do, nothing besides brings in some shooting, and is very streaky at that, to an already offensively loaded team. PHX got a steal in KT for Nate and Q.
but Honestly whats the difference between Richardson and Tim Thomas, except Richardson acts cooler than TT?
It's Larry Brown's job to find scoring opportunites for Q...Q is a strong, physical guard/forward who has shown to be effective as a post scorer before...but Brown seems content to let Q keep shooting 3-pointers...it's not really Q's fault because he seemed excited, during the offseason, to return to being a scorer down low...so I believe some of the fault, if not most, falls upon Brown...
Well keep in mind, the Knicks didn't have Curry during the time QRich made those comments. Having Curry down low in the post, pretty much rules QRich out of playing there. If the Knicks were using Jerome James as the starting center, then I could see QRich have more opportunities to be the post scorer. The main reason QRich is not getting a chance is his own fault though. If you don't play defense for Larry Brown, you aren't going to play. It's that simple, and QRich can mope all he wants, but until he commits to defense he's going to be in the doghouse. Larry Brown always has a whipping boy, and QRich has played the part. It used to be Crawford, but Crawford has improved the way he plays and is even giving the Knicks some defense. A lot of teams could still use QRich, but he has to be back on the inside posting up guards. I think a team like Seattle would be a good fit for QRich, because they don't really have a legit post up player. Having him on the court with Shard and Ray Allen would be tough for teams to match up against. I also think he'd be a great fit on the Lakers, because the Lakers also don't have strong finishers in the post. Maybe more touches inside will get him motivated on defense, so the Triangle could work out for him. Unfortunately his salary wouldn't work in the 2007 plan, so he's automatically ruled out.
