<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If it's true that a player hasn't made it in the NBA until his name is mentioned in a trade rumor, then Bulls reserve forward Luol Deng has arrived. On Tuesday, a prominent Internet site included Deng on its short list of players most likely to be moved this season. "I guess I'll go to Pax's office (general manager John Paxson's) and ask him if I can stay awhile," said a smiling Deng, who was scheduled to serve the Thanksgiving dinners he purchased for 400 visitors at a shelter for homeless women and children in Chicago. Even though Paxson is believed to be searching for an all-purpose center, he apparently has no plans to move Deng. While several teams undoubtedly are interested in the 20-year-old Duke product, few if any have a big man of equal value to offer in return. "Obviously, I would prefer to stay here, but it's a business," Deng said. "Trades are part of the game. Whatever happens happens." A lot like his team ? which will take a 4-5 record to San Antonio on Friday night ? Deng is off to a uneven start, but he has a legitimate excuse. After surgery to repair his right wrist late last season, Deng spent much of the next five months in rehabilitation. Deng and head coach Scott Skiles used the same term to describe his early performance ? "up and down." "I'm still struggling with consistency," Deng said. "I'm just trying to get back into the rhythm, but there's still a lot that I need to do out there."</div> <div align="center"> Daily South Town</div>
This would be a very stupid move to trade one of our young players. Deng is a very athletic player that has all the tools to become a great small forward in this league. The Bulls have a great future ahead of them and this would only damage it. I say the Bulls stick with the players they have now and see what those two first round picks turn out to be in next years draft.
