<div align="center">http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d36/RocketsPreview/backcourtver1.jpg"> [b]76ers http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d36/RocketsPreview/frontcourtver1.jpg"> [b]76ers Kyle Korver, Chris Webber, and Steven Hunter In the Philadelphia front court, we've got a three point specialist, an all star calibur powerforward, and well, Steven Hunter. In the past few games, Korver's points and shooting has fluctuated going from hitting lots of shots to virtually being a liability on the court. When's he's hot, Korver is basically unstoppable with his incredible shooting but when he isn't, he really isn't contributing much offensively. On the other hand, Korver does hustle and do the little things on the court when he's not scoring such as rebounding and assists. Meanwhile, Webber has come back a new man this season. As 76ers fans have noticed, Chris Webber has been amazing in this early stretch of games. He's regained some quickness back in his step and actually elevates a bit whether its rebounding, shooting, or even (gasp) blocking shots. Offensively, at nights he has struggled but overall, has provided a nice second scoring punch for the team. Don't sleep on his passing game either, if he sees the offense running for the team well, you'll be seeing Webber playing smart and not forcing up shots but rather creating for the team. Next up, at the center position Phildelphia has Steven Hunter. As a role player, Hunter has done everything needed of him. From scoring, to rebounding, to blocking shots, Hunter has been a nice addition to the team, especially when the front court's depth is so slim. In fact, last game against the Hornets, the athletic center logged a double double with twelve boards and ten points. Bucks' Frontcourt Bobby Simmons, Joe Smith, and Jamaal Magloire We're in for a show on this one. Bobby Simmons and Jamaal Magloire are both in the top tier group for their positions respectively. Meanwhile, Joe Smith can go off on any given night- coming through with either points or rebounds. Last season, Simmons received the Most Improved Player award for his outstanding statisical improvements on the Clippers. This year, he hasn't slowed down his pace. Simmons can and will score boatload of points for the Bucks through either driving into the lane or knocking down jumpers. On top of that, he's a got a good work ethic so you know he won't be slacking off on the defensive end. His rebounds definitely show it. Although his minutes have gone down, Simmons' rebounds have actually gone up from last year. Meanwhile, Magloire on the other hand has struggled since being dealt to Milwaukee. His rebounding game has remained solid, but getting points on the other hand- a different story. He has yet to get a game where he has stood out apart from the others offensively and has been shooting poor percentages for a center. Still, look for him tonight to be grabbing a lot of boards against the 76ers. At last, we come to Joe Smith. Starting in favor of Bogut, 6-10 powerforward has been terribly inconsistent so far this season. Some nights he'd get twenty one points, other nights he'd only grab three boards. So which Smith will show up? Who knows. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Philadelphia fans will be hoping Korver will be hot tonight, because the odds for the frontcourt are definitely not in their favor. Although we've got a premier powerforward in Webber, Milwaukee has two great players at their positions in Simmons and Magloire. In addition, Joe Smith can always surprise you with a lot of points, so I'm going to have to say the front court is a Milwaukee Advantage. Tonight, the 76ers aren't totally outmatched as far as the bench goes. Having a dubbed "weak" bench, Philadelphia's main contributors coming off the pine consist of John Salmons and Lee Nailon. An offense game totally improved, John Salmons has been certainly making a name for himself. He has been taking it hard to rim as well as popping jumpers to give Philadelphia a huge spark off the bench. Meanwhile, Nailon has been consistently putting up some points coming off the bench including improved rebounding. However, Milwaukee's bench shouldn't be anything to be underestimated. They have Maurice Williams at the point guard helm. Lightning fast, Williams is money from beyond the arc and fast enough to speed past his defender to drive to the hoop. Plus, demoted from his starting position since the return of Smith, Andrew Bogut has been a nice anchor at the low post coming off the bench grabbing a ton of rebounds and putting up points for Milwaukee. This is an Even Advantage After blowout victory over New Orleans, the 76ers need to stay focused and hungry for a win tonight. I know I won't be seeing anything less anyway. They lost in the opener due to a buzzer beating shot that put the game into overtime by Redd and will be looking to avenge that tough loss tonight. As always, a key for Philadelphia would be to stay strong if they get the lead and not collapse late in the game which has become a pattern for them. Iverson will most likely be playing in the game since it was only a flu which took him out against the Hornets on Monday. If everyone step up their game tonight, I know Philadelphia will win this. Philadelphia win, 101-96. </div>
Nice preview AXB really nice break down. I feel it will be a playoff atmosphere tonight. Although, the Bucks have struggled since beating the 76ers in the season opener the 76ers probably still have that lose in the back of their minds. These two teams have gone in completely different direction since that game, but both are still going to come out with a lot of energy I think the 76ers win though final score 106-98.
nice preview man, turns out, i actually had the time to do it. oh well, anyways, i see this game coming in favor of the sixers. after the huge win against the hornets, and a day of rest, the sixers will look to enter the game with fresh knees. also, i heard that sammy might suit up for this game. anyone else heard this?
Score is 21-16 the 76ers are up right now though the score does not show it this game is very fast passed up to this stage. They 76ers and Bucks are just going up and down the court attacking each others baskets. The 76ers defense is not giving up anything they blocked the Bucks three consecutive times during one possessions. Chris Webber and AI both look good right now despite spots of the flu. Samuel Dalembert warmed up with the team, but did not dress for the game.
The key yo this game is for the 76ers to contain TJ Ford and make him make mistakes with the ball. In the opener Ford in a way beat this team one handed because he was making all the plays for his team. At the half they are doing a good job at this. AI is on route to score 50 points, I love it when the 76ers are play the Bucks!
Half time 76ers up by nine right now. Allen Iverson has been on fire all night 26 so far, remember he dropped 50 and 48 on the two times we played the Bucks last year. Chris Webber has double digit rebounding already, and Andre Iguodala has made some nice plays so far this game. John Salmons has had a pretty good game so far as well he hit a three pointer early which was really the turning point for the 76ers in the first half. The 76ers are shooting 51% and the Bucks are shooting only 39% we should be up by more but we missed five free throws. The Bucks are killing us on second chance opportunities they have 11 we only have 2. Steven Hunter has played well right now the guy that gave us the most trouble in the first half was Joe Smith who has shot 6-10 from the field, and is leading the Bucks in scoring. Maurice Cheeks is really limiting Korver tonight Salmons made his first appearance in the game only two minutes into the first quarter. You won’t hear me complaining though I feel are team is playing better without Korver in the lineup.
Alright Sixers blew another game..... Other than Iverson, Salmons, and Hunter the Sixers played horrible. (I only had the chance to watch the 2nd half). Igoudalas defense wasn't even that good on Redd for some reason. Webber was taking that long ass jumpers and missing them all. And those reffs were so bull. Anyone see where those two guys knocked Iverson down hard and no whistle. Jeez.... O yeah the thing I like about JAmes Thomas is he brings toughness to this team. If your getting an easy basket he won't incentionally foul you with a weako ne, but he'll knock you down hard.
