<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Avery:</div><div class="quote_post">Nope. I do not like this game against NY at all. We always tend to struggle against them, and I just have a bad feeling about this game. Iverson had his worst shooting game in MSG a couple seasons ago and I wouldn't be surprised if he has a off night again. If this game is not a blowout from the get go, we will be in for a long game to the point where it goes down the wire and in which we might potentially drop this game.

I hope that is not the case under Cheeks and our days against struggling against the Knicks will be over, but the way I see it, it's just one of those things that are what they are. Like Jordan loves lighting up Cleveland, Iverson tourches the Bucks and Kobe loves breaking Denver heart. There are just somethings no matter what adjustments are made they just tend to happen, and I think this is one of them.</div>

Need I say more? That marks six straight losses in MSG.

Like all of you guys, I'm shocked, Iverson played like Jordan X2 out there and for that performance to become irrelevant from a guy hitting a GW 3pt but yet has trouble making a 12ft jumper, I?m disgusted. And I'm not disgusted at that alone, I?m disgusted at the fact Sixers let it come down to this. The Knicks are awful in the 3rd quarter, but they allowed them to play their best. This game should have never gone down to this.

The 76es lost the third quarter as well, and that caused them the game. This team has to learn how to play all four quarters, they played 3 great regulation quarters and thats never going to win you games in this league. Hopefuly this team will catch on, I still have faith in them.

Hard loss for us. Dalembert went 30 so that seems good. I missed alot of the game but see that Webber lead us in minutes. I dont know if thats a good idea, We dont want him running out of gas halfway through the season. Lee Nailon isnt playing anymore, anyone know why? Did i miss something? I saw him put up 21, and I know he is a defensive liability, but we could proly use him.

I feel a blinding pain in my chest. Seriously, Philadelphia needs to figure out how to close out games. This has been done to them three times I believe already and many more times if you're talking about giving up the lead. Dalembert's performance today was okay, nothing special but at least he's playing. Its definitely better than playing without a backup center. Hope his game starts to get back to normal and improve.

Probably because Cheeks wanted to ease Dalembert back into the system. Usually as backup, Nailon would play powerforward while Webber would shift over to center. Still, expect Nailon to play, its not like he's getting into Cheeks' doghouse or anything. The bench needs all the help it can get.

This really wasn't a good game. Though Iverson played well, where was his team?? They need to get it together. I don't know what to say about Webber...

I was thinking the same thing. What are you referring to when you say where was the team? We had four guys in double figures, and Hunter had eight. We just didn?t come through in the end when we needed a stop. Webber had eight of his nineteen in the fourth quarter so I don?t know why he is being so heavily criticized he shot 8-18 which is not great, but not horrible. He had a decent game considering he had the flu.

And he got us into overtime too. Did you see him get up for that tip in? A little higher than usual.

i saw this game as well, and i cant say how pissed i was at the end. AI played great, but other guys have to step up, play some D, and make the shots to let us win. no offense to the knicks or anything, but we are a lot better of a team than to lose to the knicks. hopefully mo cheeks really gets into their faces with this one, because im pissed.

Did anyone notice how Webber did not choke,I was impressed by that.Usually he would've missed the shot (Last year's Sacramento game)
    Now we're 7-7 and 1st in Atlantic

Don't hate on Nate Rob yall, any other player who can hit open shots would have made it as well. It was really AI's fault for not staying at home and coming off of Nate thinking Marbury was going to shoot.

Nah, I never remembered Webber choking. Once when he was still on the Kings last year, he shot a three right in McGrady's face to force overtime. Who would have thought that Nate would be able to make open shots. He was missing them for the most part all game.

Nah Webber has choked many times throughout his career. He has had the reputation since college when he called a TO when Michigan didn't have any and it caused the Fab Five the game, I think it was the title game as well. He also choked some in his NBA career like against the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals some years back. But he has made clutch plays since then so I don't think the 76ers have much to worry about.
