<div align="center"> <font color=""Blue"">Orlando Magic</font> <font color=""Black"">vs.</font> <font color=""Red"">Portland Trailblazers </font> Friday, November 25, 2005 | 7:00 PM ET | TD Waterhouse Centre | Orlando, Florida Projected Starting Linueps <font color=""Blue"">Orlando Magic</font> (Steve Francis, Deshawn Stevenson, Hedo Turkoglu, Dwight Howard, Kelvin Cato) <font color=""Red"">Portland Trailblazers</font> (Sebastian Telfair, Darius Miles, Sergei Monia, Zach Randolph, Joel Przybilla) Key Matchup Dwight Howard vs. Zach Randolph These two big men are each capable of taking over the game and leading their teams. After having his worst game of the season on Tuesday night, Dwight Howard will be looking to bounce back and do well tonight. Randolph hasn't been getting along with his coach as of late so he could be playing to improve his trade value. Both of these players can score, play defense and rebound exceptionally well so it should be interesting which one of these players outperforms the other tonight. My Prediction The Magic are coming off a win in which Steve Francis was hurt and Dwight Howard was a nonfactor. This should give us some confidence going into tonight and I have a feeling we will beat the Blazers. Portland has been having issues between players and coaches so they have many distractions to deal with. Because of this, I believe the Magic will pull this one out by a score of 97-92. <font color=""Blue"">PREDICTED WINNER: ORLANDO MAGIC</font></div>
Nice Preview, I say the magic are going to win this one and Dwight is going to have a good game becasue he is going to make up for his last game.
Young Guys Shine In Win By: Alex "Swish15" Kennedy The Orlando Magic defeated the Portland Trailblazers on Friday night, 104-89. The Magic were led by both of their 2004 first round picks, Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson. Nelson scored a season high 24 points from the bench and gave the Magic a huge offensive spark throughout the second half. Howard had a monstrous game, scoring 21 points and collecting 18 rebounds in his eighth double-double this season. "I think Dwight is a quiet leader. He goes out there and works hard in practice. He gets shots up and does extra things even though he's out there playing 38 or 40 minutes a game. So when a superstar like Dwight is out there playing hard that positive energy goes through your team," said Jameer Nelson. In only his second year in the league, Dwight Howard is becoming a powerful presence in the paint and defenses are having a difficult time trying to stop him this season. When asked about Howard, Blazers center Joel Pryzbilla said, "He's impressive. He's going to be a great player in this league for a long time. Every time I play against him it seems like he's getting better and better. It seems like he's got a good head, and good focus and a good head on his shoulders." But let's not forget about Jameer Nelson, or as Dwight Howard calls him "The Little Midget." Nelson, who is also in his second season, has accepted the role of sixth man and has been performing very well this season. "Eventually, me and Dwight are going to click like Stockton and Malone, that's what I'm hoping for. I don't know if I can play for 30 years like Stockton. Dwight sure enough can, he's only like 12," said Jameer Nelson with a smile. When asked if he would like to be moved into the starting lineup, Nelson responded by saying, "Finishing the game is more important right now. Eventually I'm going to be starting in this league; I know that in my heart. But right now my role is my role and I'm going to accept my role and do what I can for my team." Jameer Nelson and Dwight Howard also spend a lot of time together off the court and on the road. "I went to his house on Thanksgiving. That's my homeboy. Hopefully we'll be in this together because I'm 12 and he's 5'1 so hopefully we will be here for 20 something years," said a laughing Dwight Howard. With the way these two stars in the making have been playing, Orlando just might have to ride the 12 year old and 5'1 point guard all the way into the postseason. GAME NOTES: Keyon Dooling went down with a right heel contusion and is scheduled to undergo an MRI today. According to one Magic trainer, the injury isn't as bad as last time and it doesn't look to be serious.
definitely a nice recap man...i agree that the Magic do have a young foundation with Howard and nelson, they're gonna be one of the better duos in the NBA in a few years...
