As I recall, he had Michael Jordan there to do a lot of the work. The Pacers need Artest to be in a scorer's role. And they also need to be around for the whole season if they're going to accomplish something like, say, homecourt. If he keeps making waves, you can rest assured, the spotlight will be on him when it comes time for Stern to start making rules again. The public image of players is at stake, and from what we've seen, Stern will spare no expense in fulfilling his task of improving that image.
