The entire bench has to be productive today for us to stand a chance. Charlier and Joey have to come big, specially on the defensive end. Also, I would go with Joey on Nowitzki for some part of the game. He has the strenght to hold his ground in the post and is quicker than Dirk. I'm glad Jalen is coming off the bench. Maybe he will play like he did last year and take his starting job back. Dallas is too good though, and I take them by 11.
Bringing Rose off the bench will hopefully inject some fire into Jalen. I think we'll be seeing a lot of him this game, because without Josh Howard, there's not really a perimeter defender on the Mavs who can guard Rose. Calderon and James should prove to be a fast and entertaining backcourt, and James will probably score about 20 this game with the ball-distribution duties off his shoulders. Bosh should also benefit from having Calderon running the point. As good as James is, he is not a pass-first guy. Calderon is. Pining for the Raps upset here. Toronto by 1 on a Rose game-winner.

Its funny to see an actually play being called at the end of a game (Terry coming off 2 screens to hit the floater in the lane) as opposed to raptors and sam mitchell just giving it mike james and crossing there fingers. out played and out coached in the last 2 minutes as always. Wow, what a close game for the Raptors. They lose such a close one, it's very upsetting. If they would of won against Dallas it would a confidence builder.
I actually like this game. The team started out with a lineup of Calderone, James, Peterson, Bosh and Araujo and it looked like it was working. IMO Rose coming off the bench will win us a lot more games than him starting. It kinda pisses me off though when the Raptors use the same play over and over and over again but I guess Sam Mitchell is not really a true X's and O's coach. It also pisses me off how Sam's substitution patterns are totally illogical. Why do you leave Matt Bonner (Possibly the worst defensive player on the Raptors) to defend the final shot with 2 seconds left? Horrible. I just hope to God that Gene Keady agrees to the position. Sam Mitchell needs his guidance.
Wow! I thought the Raptors were going to win this for sure, then again they are the Raptors! They whole team went to sleep. Jason Terry's steal from Chris Bosh started the come back. And I still don't understand why Mitchell plays Bonner so much but Villenueva so little time. Mitchell's game plan looks rediculous, from whom to play to his predictable offense and defense!
This is too frustrating. I love how they are playing hard and staying competitive, but when the Raps keep coughing up the leads late in the 4th it's heartbreaking.
