I know this has not been much of a rivalry lately because either one team sucked while the other was good or we both sucked. This game should be a classic rivalry game. Even though the Kings started out slowly it looks like they are heading back into the right direction and will recover just fine to earn a playoff spot. The Warriors have had a weak schedule and have not really beat any good teams. The Kings beat the Warriors in the preseason. I think this will be a great game. I just hope the Warriors can pull out a win at home. How do you guys think the game will go?
Im going to assume Peja will be back playing for this game. Davis is the type of player that gives Bibby alot of problems both offensively and defensively. Baron is going to have to exploit this and have a monster game for the W's to have the best chance to win. On the other side of the coin the W's dont have anyone that can guard Peja effectively because of the way he moves with out the ball as well as his height and shooting ability. Peja will be the key to getting a win for the Kings. If the Kings can get a little production out of their bench I think theyre going to win. So ill say the Kings will get over .500 for the first time this season
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting GiantMidget:</div><div class="quote_post"> Peja will be the key to getting a win for the Kings.</div> Agreed. Micjael Pietrus is injured so that leaves Richardson and Dunleavy on Peja. Richardson's defense is much improved but he still cant guard Peja very easily. Warriors need to post Baron on Mike Bibby and let him create or score out of the post, also need nice post games from Murphy and Diogu. Richardson should have a good game coming off his worst performance of the season and he usually plays well against the Kings. This will be a nice test to see where these teams stand.
Good game indeed. That first half was really tough to watch because of all the 2nd chance opportunities the Kings were giving away. PROTECT THE GLASS! Richardson going nuts + Peja scoring 9 points = Kings lose.
