If it wasn't for the Age Restriction...

    The raptors are pretty much destined for worst record this season and a good shot at the #1 pick, but if it wasn't for the age restrictions Greg Oden would be eligible for the draft next season. Could you imagine if the raps got oden and teamed him up with Bosh they'd be the next twin towers, but thanks to those restrictions he won't be eligible until 07.

    Well the team with the worse record hasn't won the lottery for quite a few drafts now, so finishing did last wouldn't guarantee Oden being a Raptor. I would venture to say the Raptors will be a lottery team in 2007 as well, so they may get their man after all.

    cleveland did a few years ago, but i see what u're both saying there is no gaurentee like there is in the nfl and this draft will be slightly weaker because of the limit. As a bulls fan it is kinda disappointing that the age limit starts the year that we have 2 first rounders.
