replacement butch carter!!! i challenge anyone to refute my argument that butch carter can do both jobs better than those two jokers we presently have.
I won't dispute that he was the best coach this team ever had. Another staff change is not going to help. Things will fix themselves. Butch was also an asshat.
There definatly needs to be a management change. Thats all I gotta say. Thats generally the thing that happens when ur 1-14
hmm...i wouldnt cry if either of them left...but if i had to choose, id get rid of just mitchell. babs has made some bad moves, but he's made some good moves too...he's basically torn the team apart, and JUST started rebuilding...i dont see the point in letting him go this early in the rebuilding process...then another GM comes in and does what? lets see what babs does this year...its a long season, he may make another good move or two. imo...we've got the young core. now we need a paul pierce/dwayne wade kind of guy..a guy that can score from anywhere on the floor and create his own shot. the guy we give the ball to in crunch time. the guy jalen is supposed to be essentially lol *edit...and i thought that, and posted it before i read/posted this: http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread...2067#post552067
I honestly don't think Babcock's as bad as people are making him out to be, but at this point, I'd say that his reputation alone is killing this team. It's hard attracting players and getting people to take this franchise seriously, and Babcock's level of respectability around the league doesn't help the situation at all. I'm not too keen on having Butch do a GM/coach combo, but I wouldn't complain if he replaced Mitchell as our coach. Finding a capable GM who's willing to take over this mess of a franchise will be the hard part though.....

If there is a head coach change, then it will only be one of the assistants and I think Jim Todd should do a pretty god job, I mean, do something, make a change, make it clear that someone still cares.
sorry but this time and what we're going through we NEED to get babcock fired and it would even be better if Peddie got fired aswell i dont know why babcock is still in office we honestly have to make some changes because we need CB4 to stay
Please explain to me what Babcock did wrong. eg Hoffa, CV, what moves he did wrong? And if anyone mentions the VC trade, I'm just going to laugh at you. We were lucky to get 2 picks for someone getting 15 ppg on 40%.

The Raptors are the detroit Lions of the NBA. Full of talent but no execution. Babcock has made some good moves by drafting CV however it is questionable since they had already had a very good PF by the name of Bosh. The VC trade was also questionable because they got Aaron Williams, Eric Williams and a few other no name players. What would Babcock do though VC showed he didnt want to be there. It wasnt a comeback to NJ he was always like that. The Mike James move was good. Getting him for a former streetballer. I think they have to fire Mitchell. It seems like he has alot of problems with the players. The Raptors need some change. The knicks started to play better when Lenny left. So can the raps. The raps are way better than a 1 win team. If Bosh sees that he'll sign a huge contract and he'll be tagged as the franchise player.
