<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kwame Brown was at practice Wednesday wearing a plain white tank top rather than anything Lakers-issued for some reason. But Brown was being workmanlike, shooting at a side basket with Lakers special assistant Craig Hodges rebounding and advising. Hodges was reminding Brown to keep his release high. Just in watching him practicing his shot, one could easily see why Brown tends to rush all his shots in games: He even tends to rush his shot in practice. Stats interlude: Brown is shooting 40.7 percent from the field and 47.4 percent from the foul line. On the bright side, Brown said his sore hamstring doesn't hurt as much, and he made himself useful Tuesday by going with Luke Walton, Sasha Vujacic, Aaron McKie, Brian Cook and Devin Green to a Thanksgiving food giveaway in Compton. What's "Kwame's Korner"? It's the area in one of the upper-deck sections of Staples Center where some kids are given tickets by Brown each game.</div> Source OC Register -- Kevin Ding's Blog
Sigh...I wonder how Mitch Kupchak thought of the idea of trading Caron Butler for him. "HEY GUYS I HAVE A GOOD IDEA. LETS TRADE A REALLY GOOD PROVEN PLAYER FOR A REALLY CRAPPY ONE." I mean, cmon everyone says he has potential and that this was his breakout year. Well it was suppose to be his breakout year every freaken year he's played in tthe nba and still hasn't improved. I really hope he gets traded even though he has barely played, but I have already given up hope. It's sad watching him play.
Kwame will never live up to any expectations... The dude just sucks and it was really bad to trade Butler for Kwame. I feel even the Warriors rookie Chris Taft is better than Kwame, and the guy was a 2nd rounder.

I would gladly take taht risk but there would be no way Memphis would ever do that.

That was until he underachieved though. He showed that he was a bum and really didn't feel like working, and that's what really dropped him. He had no work ethic and also refused to workout against others. He should have been a lotto lock, but he's a moron, and killed all of his draft stock by being a bum during his sophmore year and in workouts.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Injury report: The Lakers sent forward Kwame Brown to the doctor Wednesday to have his shooting hand examined. Brown is suffering from what the team is calling a soft tissue inflammation in the hand. The injury is unrelated to the thumb problem that bothered Brown earlier in the season. The Lakers listed both Brown (hamstring strain) and forward Devean George (sore foot) as doubtful for tonight's game against Minnesota. Jackson said George might be able to play but added that his foot problem could bother him all season. "He's got to find a way to quiet that down and keep it so that he can play basketball," Jackson said. "That may mean that he's not going to be able to practice quite as much or often." </div> Source Doubtful for tonight, he played well against KG in the 1st half in the 1st meeting. I hope Kwame is learning the fundamentals of basketball with all this injury time.
