Nor can Davis be traded back to Chicago. The Bulls will try to deal Thomas, but if they can't by February's deadline, they'll likely waive him and he'll be a free agent. Thomas said his first choice is to play for Indiana and isn't sure he'd want a reunion with Brown, who has traded him twice. "If it was up to me, I pretty much don't know if I would want to come back and play for the Knicks," Thomas told New Jersey's Herald News.</div> i think it would be a good idea to get him if we can for the min. he would be the perfect replacement for JB he is an athletic forward who can play both the 3 and 4.plus he has the ability to hit big shots. he has been to the playoffs five of the 7 years hes been in the nba and that too is something the pacers lack experience. can hit the three with some regularity and can post up some of the smaller forwards. i would only have a problem with his attitude cause he has had probs with a few players before and thats the last thing the pacers need more people getting in to trouble. what do you'll think.
Believe me, you do not want Tim Thomas. First off he wants big minutes which he realisticly won't get in Indiana which will make him upset. The minutes he does get will be taken from Danny Granger, which just isn't good. Also he plays no defense. The guy is a cancer.
i think his lack of D is worse than him being a cancer, his d just isn't there and he isn't at the point of accepting the roll of a spark off the bench
